SRPG21 Automatic Dive Watch for Men

I was looking at sub-$1000 divers for a couple of months. Ended up going down the Seiko rabbit-hole and discovered the King Samurai. The list of features at this price shocked me: Sapphire Crystal, Ceramic Bezel, Bright (if somewhat short-lasting) Lume, 200m, White Dial. Nothing in this price range (aside from Baltic) came close. Plus there's something cool about this chunky, old-school Seiko aesthetic. It's not trying to be a Rolex Sub or a Tudor or Omega. It's very workmanlike in its design -- ESPECIALLY if you pair it with a Crafter Blue dive strap. For an extra $65 or so you can take this good watch and make it look great. I've had this beast for less than a week and have already dinged it slightly -- however this is one of those watches that looks better with some character. I smiled when I saw the little dent. Added Bonus: my watch arrived with a "Made in Japan" dial and a perfectly aligned bezel. Three cons so far: 1. Seiko 4R movement runs around 10 seconds fast per day and only has around 40 hour reserve (at this price that's reasonable) 2. Screw down crown can be a bit gritty at times 3. Gripping the bezel isn't easy with the stock strap and very tough with the Crafter Blue upgrade.Overall I'm thrilled with this stylish yet blue-collar diving beast. Guess we were made for each other :)UPDATE: As much as I LOVED that Crafter Blue strap from an aesthetic perspective -- the rubber irritated my skin so much that I went back to the original Seiko strap. I'm so glad I did. The experience reminded me of just how comfortable these Seiko rubber dive straps are. No irritation whatsoever and the band expands nicely during times that my wrist swells. So yeah, this watch is even better value because you can't go wrong with the included strap.

One of the best Seiko watches for men’s! It’s a daily wear and should last! Different styles and different ways of admiring a face plate! It’s your choice! I am a watch enthusiast since I purchased my own watch at 15! 40 plus years later! I have many watches and they all have a story! Rolex is out of my budget but I can tell when I find one that is worth the price! This one is a keeper and lifted my spirit! Size is perfect! I added a bracelet from Long Island Watch.com. This is a very quality watch. Feels solid and very comfortable on the wrist. The face is really intricate and aesthetically appealing. Size isn’t too big or overbearing, sits just right. So far the accuracy is great. I’m really happy with the purchase. The shipping was FAST!!

Easily the nicest dive watch I’ve had.I have ~8” wrist and the 44mm is my sweet spot for divers. I’m not sure thin wrist folks could pull off this size but the short lugs make it possible.I’m not much of a fan of the stock strap so I picked up the strapcode bracelet(like I’ve done with my Seiko divers previously).

It’s a very nice watch, fits great, looks great, my issue is with amazon, came with a small knick on top of the bezel, idk how that happens, can be seen on the top right.

Fast and good delivery. Came with own box and plastic protector wraps back and front.Seiko King Samurai White Dial is a robust 200m diver watch, dial pattern is good and increase readability, design is not for everybody but if you like it it wear smaller then dimensions due to unusual lug design. good finishing around the case and a very good everyday beater for price point. Silicon band is comfortable and I think watch would be too heavy with metal bracelet and weight distribution would be uneven with a nato, design would not fit with a leather. Happy with the purchase overall and would recommend it if you like the king samurai design as ceramic insert, overall finish and reliable mechanism around $400 makes this a price performance and robust watch.

Beautiful watch. Sapphire glass, ceramic insert bezel, screw down crown and reliable automatic 4R35 movement.This beauty is fully Japan made which is an added value over pieces assembled in other countries.Bezel’s pip aligns perfectly at 12 o’clock.Cyclops, waffle dial, golden tip on seconds hand and exposed inner ring on bezel are nice details along with the different textures in the crown. I love this watch.

O relógio é perfeito!

Title is a joke but the watch is really nice. I finally pulled the trigger on a decent, grown up watch. I got it today so it remains to be seen if it’s accurate enough. I’m happy about two things in specific. One, that it’s Made in Japan. Second, that it’s smaller than I thought by the reviews.
