I have two of these for my different sewing machines. I have acquired many larger cones of thread and these are essential for utilizing that spool option. They assemble well and the bottom piece is of a good weight to make them very stable. Highly recommend.

I have a sewing machine with a spindle that rest horizontally but I have 10 or so spools of serger thread that sit upright. What a nightmare it's been trying to sew with correct tension. I was having to manually unspool thread every few minutes but the tension was never like it should have been. This thread stand fixed my issue and now I'm happy again to sit down for a sewing session. There are no instructions included but assembly is obvious. The stand has a good weight and I haven't experienced any issues with the stand "walking" across the table while in use.

This thing works great. The base is heavy enough, it fits a 16oz cone of thread nicely and it’s well made for what it’s supposed to do. Some reviewers had trouble screwing it together. I’m sure they forced it and didn’t let the threads mesh like they are designed to do. This took all of 45 seconds to put together and the posts are tight.

There are no instructions. Pieces fit so tight it is a bit difficult to assemble. Does the job so I am happy with it.

The YICBOR Single Thread Stand Full Metal Stable &Adjustable Thread Stand #27449M is a good purchase to go along with my sewing/embroidery machine. I made the mistake of purchasing 5000m spools of thread because they were cost effective. I first tried to 3d print something that didn't work out. I tried the cup method which sorta worked but was not reliable. I tried a couple other methods of guiding the thread from a massive spool to my machine and finally broke down and purchased this thread stand. I am very happy with the purchase. The thread stand has a heavy base. The metal rods holds the thread above my sewing machine, guiding it through the feeds. A disadvantage of the thread guide is that the base is cupped where the thread is placed. this cup can allow the thread to drop under the cone and jam up the thread feed.

It doesn’t stand straight. I had my son in law. Put the item together correctly. So sorry that I complained about it. It works perfectly, and I suggest anybody that wants to order it to do so.

Mine came a little scratched up on one of the pieces but it's VERY sturdy. Easy to put together, just look at the product image. Small piece in center, nut piece on the bottom, hook on top. Also, you can use the nut to help tighten it where you want. I needed pliers, to make the adjustment. Definitely worth it. I bought my machine second hand and it lacks a spool cap. But I also have embroider thread, too large for the machine. This solves both problems.

It’s very good quality and should do what I need it to…..it’s nice to use cones of thread rather than small dpools
