The Tie BarC558 Black 1 1/2 Inch Tie Bar

Don't buy this unless you plan on using it with SKINNY Ties. This tie bar looks great but isn't very useful on regular width ties. The rear clasp is about half the length of what you see in the photo. This means when the tie bar is placed on the lower portion of tie (the wider part, it can't reach your shirt. And if you put the tie buy further up the tie you like a moron and it defeats the purpose of a tie bar because your tie will no longer be held in place.

Love this thing. I wear skinny ties all the time, it keep everything exactly where it should be. The tie that is.

Great clip but the rear of the clasp could be a little deeper, to the center of the clip. With that said though, is a great clip. It's clean and subtle but really sets a professional presidence.

I wear this with an all black suit and blue tie mostly. Keeps the look classy, gives a small accent, and branches out from the traditional silver tie bar.Pros:-Adds to the look of primarily black suits without being flashy.-Brings out color accents while remaining subtle.-Being 1 1/2", it can be used with any tie and not seem too long.-Holds tie tightly but doesn't leave a crease of any kind.Cons:-There was a small chip in the black paint near the top of the one I received. Did I mention that it was on the back though? Yeah, doesn't matter. Still 5/5Great tie bar. Would recommend for anyone wanting an accent to a more modern looking suit.
