Not Jerky, But That's A Good Thing!
This was my second time purchasing Biltong from Braaitime. I loved it the first time I tried it and I still love it.I used to love American beef jerky but it's really a strain on my teeth and jaws and to be honest, some brands are highly expensive. I had never even heard of Biltong until I was watching low-carb lifestyle videos on Youtube and someone mentioned this product. I immediately logged into Amazon and found this brand. The taste is amazing. It's moist enough to not be tough and hard to chew like traditional American jerky. But it's dry enough to have that unique texture so beloved by jerky lovers.A lot of people use the word gamy in describing Biltong and they aren't wrong. It tastes gamier than beef jerky. It may be due to the cows being grassfed as opposed to the hormone-laden cows many jerky companies use.Overall, I've been nothing but satisfied with this product. I plan to buy more since my son tends to eat half my bag when I do order this.

Been a customer since 2014 and have tried many of their varieties of Braaitime's sliced biltong, snapsticks and droewors. 4.5 stars on all previous orders. That being said, my last order of this product was absolute junk. Not cured and dried appropriately and the taste was nowhere near the same as previous orders.

it is the best dog treat around
okay, so i've got to admit, this is not edible in my opinion...however, it is the best dog treat around! the product is healthy enough for humans, very lean and there's like 200 pieces so WAY better value proposition than most PetCo products.

Just so-so, not worth the price.
I admit, I ordered this after seeing it on an episode of Duck Dynasty. I didn't like it as well as regular jerky, mine or commercial. It is VERY thinly sliced and maybe for this reason too dry. I know it's dried beef, but this was dry like paper, not chewy at all.

Tasty morsels of Africa
This took a little longer to get than I expected. But it was worth the wait. Anyone who's had biltong in Africa can appreciate trying this. The jerky was a bit on the drier side, but the flavors were spot on with what I remember.

Not my cup of tea, but quality product
My husband and I wanted to try it after seeing it on Duck Dynasty. Price was okay, the meat seemed to be of good quality. The flavor was not what I like in a jerky, but other than that it was fine.

Not as expected
I'm a huge fan of all types of jerky and have tried versions from all over the world. This jerky is definitely not what I had imagined it. It is fairly greasy, falls apart and is overly salty. I was hoping that it would have a stronger vinegar also. I guess other like this but it definitely isn't my cup of tea. If you like a traditional jerky then this isn't for you.

I've had real biltong from Zimbabwe and South Africa, this doesn't taste like it. This tastes good and has a good texture. It's just not biltong.
