I love this! It was simple to install because it has everything I need to do the job right. The fact that I have the replacement strings on hand when I need to change this first set is a definite bonus. Most importantly, it sounds AWESOME! I put 4 stars because I don't yet know if this is a poor quality string, or if I am the one who is forcing it too much. Because I'm a begginer I can stablish just yet if I'm the one forcing it, but, I will say that 3 strings already broke on me.

The strings broke in the middle as I was trying to replace them on my mandolin. They are not made well. Couldn't even get close to tuning before both E strings broke individually. Will not use the rest of the strings as quality is not there

Perfect for replacing mandolin strings - seem to be good quality and price very reasonable. The extra stuff makes it an even better deal.

Great value, staring seem quality.

While it's an appealing price point, especially with the tools and picks, the string quality could be better. The wrap at the loop end is the weakest point. I went through the whole pack *SIX* E strings....all of them snapped at the loop end. Please, please, please for your sanity choose another string set. Forget the tools... get good strings. It's so much more worth it.

Good quality strings. Capo is a bit odd for the mandolin neck. Stringing tool is very useful
