CS15066 Extreme Glitter 8 Oz, 1 Pack

Omg, I love this mod podge. It is so beautiful and glittery when dry. I still go over it with satin mod podge once dry but I don't think you have to.

I bought this to go over a large, full white moon, part of the mural I painted on the end wall of our hallway. It's clear so can over any base color, it's straight forward and simple to apply, dries quickly so can be recoated quickly, leaves a nice sparkle after only one coat, and soap & water clean-up is easy. (Stir well before applying to distribute the glitter throughout.) This is a multi-colored, iridescent glitter (holographic-like), not a solid silver. I would've been happy with a single silver color, but I'm very happy with this iridescent, also. It's not gaudy or childish looking. I liked the subtle, yet noticeable, effect after only a single coat, so I left it at that. Whether you want to add more coats (and more sparkle) is a personal choice, depending on the look you're going for. The glitter is fine textured so painting over it should be no problem, no preremoval necessary (at least not after the one coat I applied). Because my "moon" is high enough on the wall to be out of reach, I didn't put any kind of top coat over this glittery Mod Podge. If it was within reach or put on an item meant to be used, I would have top coated it since some of the glitter comes off when I wipe my hand lightly over it. (Probably would've tried 2-3 coats of "plain" Mod Podge over top.) As with all the Mod Podge products I've used through the years, I'm now a new fan of this glittery addition. I'm sure it will be one of those things I keep in stock, right alongside several other versions of this enduring crafters' classic.

Didn't find this product worked any better than cheaper priced regular sparkle but wanted to try. Priced way too high. Won't purchase again now that I know.

Nice amount of glitter

Easy to apply and was much cleaner than using glitter dust with glue. At first I could not see it enough to notice and did three layers but could have done just one after seeing how it came out.

Oh my goodness! This product is amazing, exactly what I needed for my art work. A little hours a very long way too. If you're looking for beautiful glitter which is very easy to apply (I used a paintbrush) then please give it a go - I'd definitely recommend it 👌

Fazit: + Der BESTE Kleber für Décopatch, Serviettentechnik etc. + Kinderleichte Verarbeitung (mit Pinsel oder Schwamm) + Schnelle Trocknungszeit + UV-beständig, kein Vergilben oder Rissbildung (auch nach 20 Jahren nicht) + Für viele Oberflächen (Holz, Karton, Papier, Kunststoff, Stein, Glas etc.) + Für alle möglichen Projekte geeignet + Auch für Kinder geeignet + Toller Glitzerffekt Ich bin total Mod Podge Fan und kenne es noch aus meiner Zeit aus den USA. Mod Podge ist ein flüssiger Kleber, den man mit Pinsel, Schwamm oder ähnlichem auf eine Oberfläche aufträgt, um sie entweder zu versiegeln oder zu verschönern. Es ist auch DER go-to Kleber für Serviettentechnik und Décopatch! Die Kleber, die man hierzulande in Deutschland/Schweiz/Österreich bekommt haben mich leider gar nicht überzeugt (halten entweder nicht richtig oder vergilben nach kurzer Zeit). Bei Mod Podge ist das anders. Mittlerweile gibt es Mod Podge ja in unzähligen Varianten und als Fan habe ich sie alle ausprobiert: Matt, Glänzend, Glitzer, Outdoor, Papier, Stoff....es gibt für viele Anwendungsbereiche spezielle Produkte, aber das meiste lässt sich auch mit dem Standard Glossy/Glänzend oder Matt verwirklichen. Ich habe damit schon Papiermaché Figuren, Kartonschachteln, Holz-Weihnachtskalender etc. mit Serviettentechnik dekoriert und auch nach über 15 Jahren ist noch nichts vergilbt und hält immer noch bombenfest! Mod Podge hält auch auf fast jedem Material, egal ob Karton, Papier, Holz, Glas, Stein, Kunststoff, etc etc. Nur bei flexiblen Materialien wie z.B. Kleidung oder Schuhen sollte man darauf achten eine flexible Mod Podge Variante zu nehmen damit es keine Rissbildung gibt. Nun aber zum eigentlichen Produkt: Der Glitzer Mod Podge ist der neueste aus der Reihe den ich ausprobiert habe, ich musste 3 Monate warten weil ich damit ein ganz spezielles Projekt verwirklichen wollte, aber das warten hat sich mehr als gelohnt! Es sind Multicolor-Glitzerpartikel in diesem Mod Podge, sie sind also schon im flüssigen Kleber drin wenn man die Dose aufschraubt. Ich habe vorher etwas umgerührt, aber das hätte es gar nicht gebraucht, es war der ganze Glitzer homogen verteilt. Bisher habe ich zwei Projekte mit dem Glitzer Mod Podge realisiert: Glitzer Sonnengläser: Ich habe in den Glitzer Mod Podge etwas bunte Lebensmittelfarbe eingerührt (die von Wilton, da reicht eine Zahnstocherspitze aus um die ganze Dose zu färben). Da ich mehrere Farben wollte, habe ich kleine Portionen Mod Podge in Wegwerfbecher gefüllt und in 6 Regenbogenfarben eingefärbt. Ich habe den bunten Glitzer Mod Podge dann mit einem Schwammpinsel auf Solar-Sonnengläser aufgetragen (2 Schichten) und in die Gläser habe ich bunte Deko eingefüllt, kleine Tierchen und Streumaterial. So kann ich saisonal immer die Dekoration im Garten ändern. Statt Solargläsern kann man natürlich auch ganz normale Einweckgläser nehmen oder ausgespülte leere Marmeladengläser. Wir haben im Garten nicht überall Strom/Beleuchtung, aber die bunten Solargläser sind nun bei allen Gästen DAS Highlight :-) Tagsüber laden sie sich durch Solarenergie auf und funkeln und glitzern in der Sonne, und sobald es dunkel wird intensiviert sich die Wirkung noch. Converse Sneaker (Schuhe) meiner Tochter repapiert: Die Stoffschuhe hatten Löcher, die habe ich mit Mod Podge und mehreren Lagen Stoff geflickt. Danach habe ich Glitter Mod Podge mit pink Lebensmittelfarbe (1 Zahnstocherspitze voll Farbe reicht) gemischt und mit einem Schwammpinsel die Schuhe 2x eingepinselt. Nun sind alle in der Schule neidisch auf die tollen "Pink Glitzer-Chucks" meiner Tochter....besser als wegwerfen! :-) Auch der Glitzer Mod Podge hat mich voll und ganz überzeugt, trotz starker Sonneneinstrahlung kein Vergilben, Verblassen oder Risse. Von mir gibt es Daumen hoch und 5 Sterne!

Lo amé, la consistencia es como si fuera resistol 850 con pedacitos de glitter chiquito. Lo puedes aplicar en donde sea (que no vayas a mojar porque repito que es como resistol y se caeria) no tarda en secar y puedes aplicar todas las capas que quieras para tener más glitter. Es perfecto en manualidades, juguetes, para ponerle encima a las pinturas, esculturas,rompecabezas...todo lo que quieras que tenga brillo.

J'utilise ce produit pour ajouter de la brillance et de belle paillettes à mes coloriages pour adulte et à mes projets de scrap (loisirs créatifs 😊 , carteries etc ...) Les paillettes sont superbes dans tes tons plutôt pastel ce qui rend vraiment bien. La colle sèche transparente ce qui es un gros plus . Si vous aviez des doutes sur la qualité soyez rassurés c'est de très bonne qualité le nombre de paillettes est élevé et le rendu final est superbe !!!.
