How to cut a bottle in 3 easy steps: Step 1 - Score It - Simply place the CutRound Bottle Cutter on the bottle and go around the bottle 1 time. (Yes, just once). Make sure you start and stop the cut in the same spot. Step 2 - Separate It - For this step you simply need cold and hot water. The hot water should not be boiling and should be the same temperature as a hot cup of tea or coffee. The cold water does not need to be ice cold. Just the coldest water out of your sink should do the trick. Simply pour hot water over the cut you just made, then immediately pour cold water over the cut. After repeating this several times, the bottle should separate on its own! (Note: if the bottle doesn't separate after repeating this sequence 10 times, try using water that is either hotter or colder, or both.) Step 3 - Finish It - This step is easy too. Simply use sand paper to smooth out the rough edges where the bottle separated. We recommend doing this under running water to reduce small particles. Now you can enjoy your creation!
