Followed a YouTube video to instal. Removing the old screen was messy as the glue was stuck tight, despite warming it up, which meant the glass broke into tiny pieces. But once off it was easy enough. Had to contact customer support as after instillation the screen developed a problem but I was refunded then bought a new one. Fitting and it works fine. One issue with both however was the fact that the fingerprint scanner no longer worked but this is not an issue for me as it’s my 9 year olds. The button works to return to the Home Screen which is the main thing. Customer support were very quick to reply and sort any issues I had and I learned a new skill in the process.

This is a great product, my iPad is now up and running! The first screen I received was faulty where the touches would not register on half of the screen. As instructed, I removed and reconnected the digitiser and LCD cables yet issue persisted. The seller kindly offered to send a replacment. New screen has now been installed and suffers no issues. To improve the product even more, it would be great if the adhesive tape could be made less wider and the adhesion stronger. Apart from that its a 10/ 10 product and could not be happier with the customer service.

Broke whilst replacing the screen. Awful quality.

Firstly the good things, looks and feels good quality. The home button feels secure (that’s what went on our last screen). Added bonus with all the tools you need plus a screen protector, brilliant! Now the negative, it’s only one…. The connectors are very weak compared to other modes. They don’t have that ‘click’ feel like other models. So beware when you connect them and expect a click, it’s a very subtle click and they easily come apart. I had to install them 3 times before it was right and they are held in position with the metal retaining plate in the iPad. Given that negative, it works great and as mentioned the home button feels secure. Time will tell on reliability as only installed yesterday. Overall great screen, just be weary of the clips on the connectors.

Excellent value. Easy to install and all equipment required for the job ( need a hair dryer to remove cracked screen). Emailled for advice and responded immediately. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I've had to replace the touchscreen on an iPad. he hardest part is getting the broken screen off. There are a number of YouTube videos on the process. In theory. you need some way of heating the adhesive like a heat gun however a hairdryer will do. I found putting the ipad in the oven (on the absolute lowest setting, about 50 degrees C) worked well. Tools are ok, the plastic wedges can be difficult to get started down the sides. Be prepared for the odd small shard of glass to prick your fingers as, assuming your old screen is already cracked it will tend to break up more as you remove it. Also, if you want to keep your fingerprint working, you will have to swap the button. This can be a little tricky as you need to peal the buttons off and swap them but it is possible. Finally, I was pleased to find there was a screen protector included so, hopefully, this will give some more life to the replacement

Totally happy with this awesome kit/product. YouTube videos agree with the kit parts and dis/assembly techniques. The plastic tool kit is now being put to good use on an iPhone S. Brilliant value for money. Jim

Unfortunately the screen had an issue and didn’t work once installed. But the customer service I received trying to rectify the issue was fantastic. I would happily use this company again and recommend to anyone. I’ve had faulty screens in the past but the customer service don’t seem to care unlike this company. 10/10.
