Schrade Old Timer Bowie

I like the looks of this style Bowie, mine was sharp out of the box for what I use it for, "cutting pork roast at the family picnic' . It is well built and the 10 inch blade tapers down to a fine edge and is downright scary looking. I would not use this knife for heavy cutting or bone chopping as the fine taper of the blade will ding easy. As a chef I bought this as a heavy duty kitchen knife, I can hit this on the steel a couple times and shave with it. Overall its a good thirty dollar big knife I have a lot of fun with.

This is a nice knife for the price. The blade thickness tapers to a thin point so it is good for fine work. Full tang and Delrin handle material. Good camp knife.

Great deal. Some complain about "mystery steel" but this is high quality stainless that comes sharp and stays sharp.
