Pretty good hoop but not as good as the brand. It will work for me. Thank you!
The price is great, but the hoop stays snug against the frame and not the thumb screw when you unscrew it. That means you must pull the bottom open while you place the top hoop on or force it a bit. I have pinched my fingers a few times. Ouch! I will be using it with the Durkee hat frame so I will not be opening and closing the hoop. If I were going to use it as my everyday hoop I would spend the extra money on the brand hoop.

Works almost perfectly
I say almost perfectly and only gave it 4 stars because it is slightly stiff and hard to tighten. I was hoping it would loosen up a bit after a couple of months, but it hasn’t. It’s definitely usable, just tighter than the original Janome hoop.

The latching mechanism is easily bent
Everything looked like the brand name hoop. The metal flap that latches to the machine bends easily and it won’t lock in. You constantly have to fold it back to get it to latch and I expect it will eventually break as the metal is paper thing.
