Impulse (Contemporary Romantic Thriller Book 2)

This was an ok sorry but decidedly dated. It was originally published in 1990 and updated in 2001. It's a good example of Coulter's earlier work with engaging characters but a little too heavy on the "I don't need a man to tell me what to do but I'll let YOU anyway" trope of earlier feminist times. I wouldn't but it and I only listen to it again when I've completely forgotten it - maybe every 5-10 years.

This book is a little bit out there. Coming home one night a woman runs out in front of Dillon she gets she needs his help because her husband wants her dead and she is afraid for her daughter's life. He takes her back home to a mansion in the hill. When they get there the lights are all in she runs back into the Mansion. Dillon comes in the house it is not what you would expect a mansion in the Twenty Century to look like. He hunts for the women he hears moaning and crying he gets knocked out and when he comes to all he sees is a dilapidated house and no women or daughter. She was a 👻. Enjoy!

This is the first one of her books that I really didn’t care for. I know it was one of her earlier ones so maybe she was trying things out. Mystery okay, guessed it. The attempt at writing a intimate scene was hard to trudge through.

This story is so action filled that soon you'll be knee deep in plots and not even think about it as a romance. So wonderfully written and so believable! You'll go into action right along with them and be surprised with each twist to the very end.

I bought this used one because halfway through my new one, my puppy decided to tear it to bits, Not kidding!!!! I had to find out the rest of the story. Not finished yet, puppies take a lot of time, but condition of my books after I read them look worse so I was very satisfied.

Another book that hit the mark on the caricatures again . I also enjoyed the w;ho done it to the amount ofBodies showing up.

A good read. I am not much for romance novels, but there was enough of a plot to keep me turning the page.

The story grabs you from the Proluge. This a "just one more page" book. Happy ending!

This book was funny, oh so sexy and also unputdownable- I live the way you write and make the characters so real - can’t wait for the next one.

Catherine Coulter is one of my favorite authors. I have read all her books and more than once. Love them all.
