I searched for many hours to find a reasonably priced weight set. This one had solid metal bars and nuts. Do not buy the plastic ones. They are dangerous. This one feels sturdy and the weights don't shift when tightened. It is an excellent set for amateur weight lifting. The bar is fairly standard and fits other weights for when I need to increase the total weights. I love being able to turn two dumbells into one barbell so easily. Very pleased with my purchase. I recommend for anyone who wants to get into lifting. The versatility is awesome.

There are no shortage of options on Amazon and we took our time going through all of them to make a very careful decision. This was absolutely our favorite option and, in our opinion, the best choice based on both price, quality, and the apparent quality of the build materials (aka durability, long-lasting-ness). Basically, this is everything we wanted and at a completely fair price. The range of weight options they provide is great and higher than many other listings. Also, it was the perfect balance of aesthetic appeal and seeming sturdiness (although sturdiness was obviously the higher priority). The hexagonal shapes make it so they don't roll when on the ground. The fact that it can be either dumbbells or a bar is amazing. And the heavy, deep grooves are the main thing to help assure you that it won't fall off and is safe to use. The only weird thing I could say to give anyone a heads-up is that there are tiny 'grub' screws (I think they're called??) that you have to tighten with an Allen key (provided with set, of course) and some might find that uncomfortable or strange. Because you have to use the little 'L-shaped' tool every time to re-tighten the little tiny screw into the big twisty-tightening ring thing. However, this is completely normal, not their fault or bad design, it's simply the trade-off that YOU must pay for because you want something that can do all kinds of wacky stuff all at once, interchangeably. I've actually seen other little screw things that you can do with your hands, but the allen key set thing is not enough to deduct a star. I suppose I could buy those hand-tighten-able things myself elsewhere if I really wanted to. All in all, pretty amazing. Feel like we've made a solid investment for years to come. Let's start with the good. It's a very simple product. It doesn't take a lot of thought to get it up and working. The weights are accurate and it's all very sturdy. Barbell mode is wonderful and simple and having a flat bottom makes for easy storage. Now for the bad. This wasn't manufactured very well fit several reasons. The threads for the barbells to enter into the dumbbell are not deep enough so in the light dumbbell mode you will have exposed threads. The threads are also not made very tight, even with the locking pin in place the weights will rotate. The foam cover doesn't move and it hasn't been placed in the middle so getting a perfect center on that alone is hard. Add in the uneven threads and you have to get a tape measurer to figure out where exactly you should be grabbing it. Overall though is a great product that I'm glad I bought.

Something that's always a welcome surprise is when a package arriving early, which I can happily say is what happened with this product. Great first impression before I even opened the box. Was packet safely and securely, no damage was done to packaging or product. Weights are easily assembled and disassembled, as well as the barbell extension. Aside from a small ear piercing screech from one side of the barbell when I twist the dumbbell handle on, it's a smooth process to transition between the two modes. Every aspect of the product is sturdy and secure during use, exactly what's expected from a reliable set of weights. I'm very pleased with the product and would definitely recommend these weights to anybody looking for a set worth their price.

This weight and Dumbbell plus Barbell set really sets the BAR ! Especially for the asking price Weights are very high quality plastic so won't scratch your tile or wooden floors if dropped ! I went with of course the 88 llbs set I wish they offered up to 105 llbs but it's all good still happy with my purchase. Shipping was very fast and packaging was superb ! I feel bad for the UPS driver he didn't look to happy delivering it lol. The ease of switching weights can take some time depending on who you are and how much patience you have ! This is to be expected as you use a Allen key and secure nut plastic pins to hold the weights on the dumbbells and barbell securely . My advice ? Before your work out have everything set up to how you want it that's what I do. LeadNovo thank you for making a high quality product I know this set will last me many years to come. I don’t hate this product but I also don’t love it. The weights that come with it are 4.5s and 6s which results in very odd final numbers and not your typical 10/15/20/25 lb increments. The dumbbells are large and unwieldy but still usable mostly. Be careful if you do any near the face movements (like a snatch). I was excited that this could be used as a barbell but was disappointed when I realized the weights couldn’t all be grouped next to each other, rather they need to be split it which removes grip space. Overall, they are better than having nothing but I would not make the same purchase again.

I got these weights because I wanted to start using weights in my apartment-based workouts. I ended up getting these weights because of the price and because of the wide range of possible weights that the dumbbells can be set to. I was honestly a little skeptical at first because of how much cheaper these weights were compared to other brands, but I was incredibly happy once I received the weights!! They came in around a week earlier than the estimated shipping date and I could not be happier with the quality. The plates feel very secure when I have them on the dumbbells. My only complaint is that the holes on the plates are a little smaller than most "standard" plates, so it feels a little bit awkward to hold the plates by themselves if you wanted to do certain workouts like shoulder flys. However, this is a very minor complaint. Otherwise, I am very happy with the quality of these weights and I can see myself using them regularly for years to come!

This weight set is fairly easy to assemble and versatile. Some areas for improvement: -The bar length in the middle should be increased. Currently, the length is fairly short and makes resting the bar on your shoulders a bit awkward if you have all the weights added on. -One of my weight discs came slightly dented on a corner. However, the plastic seems to be holding up strong but I could foresee it becoming more dented. Do not drop these weights; do a controlled drop to the ground. -Adding on and removing the discs is an ordeal because you have to use an allen wrench to take them off. A quicker design with perhaps clamps would be better and faster. Given the pandemic and gym closures, this is still a good purchase for its price point.
