This listing is for a set of 2 mugs. Morning coffee is ready and these mugs will keep it piping hot while you sit and enjoy your morning ritual together with you other half. They make a great couples gift. These brown coffee cups are made from buff stoneware clay and is wheel thrown and trimmed by hand in my own studio. I stamped the letters and letters are done with a black wash. I glazed it in traditional tenmoku glaze inside and on the rim. I left the raw clay on the outside of the mug for a tactile experience to keep you in the present while you are enjoying your morning ritual. It is fired to cone 10 (2380 Deg F) in a reduction environment. It measures 4 inches across at the top and 5.5 inches including the handle. It measures 4 inches high and holds a generous 16 ounces. It is very comfortable to hold.
