Underwhelming Results for Such Glowing Reviews
As a professional artist, these colors are no where near the "high" pigment load of even the winsor & newton cotman (student) range. High pigment load for children's, scholastic, craft grade paints-- perhaps. Medium to low average at best for student grade lines. No comparison to pro grade. But given their price point I didn't expect them to be anywhere near pro grade. And as there are no lightfastness ratings on them I would not trust them to be lightfast at all despite manufacture general claims. The only light fast ratings that can be trusted are those with official I-IV standard scalings. The color does not granulate and behaves roughly like some of the shades in crayola or prang sets. Yet it's priced many times more than either. It is semi opaque like most student grade sets but even with watering down tends toward cloudiness. It's ok as a play set or one to toss in a go bag when you don't want to take your expensive paints along and are just mucking about. A fine starter set for kids. I was skeptical of some of the claims made and found out that skepticism was well founded. Would not buy again unless reduced well under $10. Very over-inflated price point for the quality delivered. Again it is not horrible, just underwhelming.

Blu Bento Paint Box is a KEEPER
I received a Blu Bento Paint Box as a gift earlier this year, and my daughter was so enamored with it that I eventually told her she could keep it for her very own. I decided to order my very own Blu Bento, and I'm sure I'll love it as much as she does. The paints have lots of pigment, and the shades are lovely. There are two handy mixing wells right beside the paints, and the top also has 3 handy compartments for mixing. It's very easy to clean, and it's portable. We're huge fans!

the paints that come with this set are not bad, and would be perfect for children
Ok I'll admit it, I bought this product for the gorgeous blue tin in order to my artist-grade paints in. However, the paints that come with this set are not bad, and would be perfect for children...I'll be sharing mine for sure.

Great set!
I did a lot of searching before deciding on this particular set of watercolors. I am very, very pleased with it! It has a great selection/amount of colors for the pricerange. I am new to watercolors, but I am hooked! The sellers also seem very friendly and obviously care about their product, which is something that you don't see too often when buying online. Highly recommended, would definitely buy again!

Small but nice
Beautiful colors! I just wish it was a little larger, as it's quite small and hard to really get enough paint on my brush for any painting that's not fine details.

They are Okay
I really wanted to love these watercolors, but I am not thrilled with them. They are chalky and have a slight smell that I don't like. The tin is great, so I popped the paints out for the kids to use and use the tin for other watercolor pans.

Gave as a gift/well recieved.
My grandson loves these so much. When I asked him if he liked his new paints, he held them to his chest and hugged them. lol. They are higher quality, not at all like a crayola brand, the colors are stronger, more saturated with pigment. I would use them myself.

Vivid colors and good larger size
Love it, it's a larger than I exspected. However it's a great size I take it out to the field (landscape Architecture) and do field sketches with it. I fit a few more brushes and 2 small rulers in the case. The colors are so vivid and beautiful. Mixing them can create some gorgeous colors.
