Will this cut 1-1/2 inch abs pipe as well as it cuts 1-1/2 inch pvc pipe?

The pipe barely cut 3/4 pvc “schedule 40” and broke the blade after at most 10 cuts

Does it cut straight?

Cutting PVC or CPVC it does a great job. If you need the cuts to be perfectly straight, you will need to support the pipe from both sides. These cutters perform very well at making easy, fast cuts. If perfection is desired though, consider some ratcheting PVC cutters.

Does anyone know if this will cut 1” schedule 80 pvc pipe?

I haven't tried it on schedule 80, but I suspect you could. You may have to do a little at a time while rotating it - kind of like using a pipe cutter, screwing it down a little tighter each time.
