Gel Memory Foam Wedge Pillow for Acid Reflux. Cool Temp Wedge Pillow for Gerd, Snoring. 24" L, 24" W, 7.5" H

I love my get memory foam wedge! I feel like I'm sleeping cradled in a cloud and I don't want to move. I actually end up sleeping in one spot without waking up for the majority of the night - it's crazy! I specifically bought this one because I read reviews on other sites that this was the best for side sleepers.But ... would I love it without my body pillow alongside me and a pillow above this to support my arm? No, I wouldn't! I sleep with my arm straight out towards the wall. So without another pillow above this on my mattress my arm is dangling above the mattress. Then as others have said there is no where to put your other arm if you sleep on your side because of how narrow it is - so body pillow. Clearly I'm short as well or I wouldn't have room to put a pillow between this and the headboard and not be hanging off the bed.This brings me to my other point. If you are someone like my husband with broad shoulders you will probably squish this flat as a pancake within a few hours and should get a more firm wedge.I have no issues with this and mine stays in wedge shape all night. My body molds into it the way it's supposed to for good alignment but I stay inclined at the same amount. When I do turn over it has to reshape to that position / that shoulder being down.

I purchased this pillow because I recently found out my reflux has turned into a more serious than I had thought. Even with medication, I was still feeling burning in my chest at night while laying flat in bed. After reading reviews for several wedge pillows, I ordered this one. When I received it and opened the plastic it was wrapped in, I knew those reviewers complaining about the strong odor were on to something! I followed the instructions and placed the pillow in a well-ventilated room for 24 hours, but it took several days of airing-out before I could use it.Now that I am using the pillow regularly, I can say my reflux symptoms at night are gone. From time to time I wake up and have slid down the pillow so my head is lower than I would like it to be. Overlooking the odor issue, this is a comfortable pillow for me and it is working as I wanted it to.

I have been searching for a wedge pillow to help with acid reflux. I have tried several different brands. Most other pillows are either much too hard and uncomfortable to lie on, or too soft and don't provide enough support. The covers are made of inexpensive material making them scratchy and unpleasant to lie on. This pillow, however, is very comfortable. The cover is soft and smooth (more like a pillowcase). The pillow provides about 6 inches of elevation while having enough softness to make it comfortable. I use a pillow on top of the wedge and have found that this works well for me. You will need to air out the pillow before use (unfortunately all foam pillows stink, some more than others) but I found that a few hours outside on my covered porch did the trick.

Great foam, but possibly too short. It's very comfortable - the memory foam is terrific. The width was a little on the narrow side for side-sleeping: it may not work for everyone. I found the 24" length too short for comfort, and I'm an average-ish height male. The 24" length meant that my back was partly flat on the mattress and partly inclined on the pillow. Measure carefully before you order. If it fits, it's great. If not, you're not going to be comfortable.

This worked out pretty well for me. I use a separate pillow on top of the wedge, which keeps me from sinking into it (which I would otherwise). Only recommendation would be to change the slope of the wedge and make the pointed end a few inches thick. Since the foam compresses, it feels like the wedge is only like a foot or so long, starting under my shoulders.

Important to note that this pillow does NOT extend below the waist, as shown in the picture. It stops just below the ribs and is only slightly longer than the width of your pillow on top of it. You may be inclined to slide down. That said, it was the only wedge pillow I could find made of cool foam, an important feature for me personally. After two nights on it, I can say that sliding has been a minor annoyance and that it does serve the purpose of helping with GERD.

I can't believe this! I came to this URL to copy it to send it to my sister, and the product is GONE!!! I got it about six weeks ago, aired it out in my garage for a couple of weeks (thanks to previous reviewers for telling it like it is!) and put up with its stink for a couple of more weeks, but it is a real help to me in dealing with my reflux without drugs. I find it very comforting to sleep on, many times better than raising the head of my bed or using an earlier wedge that wasn't memory foam.

I purchased this pillow because I wake up with sinus pressure with a headache everyday. I received the pillow as expected but it doesn't look at all like the picture. This is a WEDGE pillow. I am going ahead and trying it out. I'll post in about a week whether or not it helps.
