Great accessory
Got this cable to use with the new Macbook so that I could use all my old accessories with it, still don't have any USB-C devices and they aren't out in full force yet so I can't update, and it has been working great so far. As a disclaimer I haven't used it with any USB 3.0 devices yet, cause I don't have many of those either, but with USB 2.0 it works great. Been able to sync my phone and use an external hard drive with zero problems. Beyond the functionality, this cable is a really nice extra to have. It's longer than most adapter which can be good and bad, but so far it hasn't really bothered me much. The cable is nice a good thickness such that it doesn't seem like to fall apart any time soon and it should take a decent beating, which is always a huge plus in my book. The white color is nice cause it goes with Apple theme, like the computer I use. Overall, this is a good cable and I would definitely recommend it. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

It works as advertised, but I had to make a slight modification to the USB type A port to work. The problem with the Type A port was that the two tension tabs were crimped up too high, and it blocked any device from plugging in. I had to actually take a Flathead screw driver to press the metal tabs down so I could plug in a device. This is a sign of a lack of quality control. Most people would've given up, or tried to force a type A device in and risk damaging the connector. Once I did that though, the adapter cable worked pretty well. I was able to use my mouse on my Nexus 5x, and connect a usb storage device as well. Overall, I am satisfied with this product, but not satisfied with the measures I had to take to get it to work.DISCLAIMER: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!
This cable makes newer emerging technology much more convenient to use with existing technology. The cord itself great quality and is small but gets the job done. It's thick, sturdy material and well made so I don't worry that the inner wires coming loose with consistent use. It's so easy to carry along to use anywhere. Like between the home and office. With devices that have USB C ports and leave out the standard USB port, this cord fixes that problem. Just plug it into your USB C port and pretty much anything with an standard USB cord will work! It's nice and fast with USB 3.0 and great that it's backward compatible with USB 2.0 as well. The USB device you plug into this OTG adapter stays plugged in very well and tight. I seen others complain about it being to tight, but it dose't make me feel like I'm going to break anything. That just makes me more secure with the quality of it.
