I have an extended cab. Could the rears be cut to fit with a knife, heavy scissors or?

I used these on my F150 Super Crew and they fit okay. If your cab is smaller, I see no reason why you couldn't cut them. The rear guards are smaller than the front, so it may not be necessary.

Is the whole backside sticky and also does it need heat or anything to activate or just peel and stick ? Thanks

The entire backside is sticky. No need for heating. Just peel and stick. A bit difficult to install straight and true. I installed using the door sill rubber weatherstripping as a guide and the they went on crooked. I recommend using the lower edge of the sill as the guide and stick down in an upward motion towards the door sill weatherstripping. This way the not so perfect/crooked edge is hidden by the door weatherstripping.

Will the scuff plates on 2009 and 2007 both super quad cabs scuff plates fit both?

Measure the area to be covered on the 07 an 09 if they are the same size, they should fit.
