The scanner works perfect. I've had no problems with it. I plugged it in and it worked right out of the box, with no need for setup.

This products does NOT work on Macintosh as described. The software the provided me was for Windows, and after I said that it was not Mac software, they replied, "We are sorry for the trouble. But you should update it on windows, then it will work for MAC. This product can work on windows and MAC after updating, but not 100% perfect for windows. Please have a try."What kind of crap is that?AND to make matters worse, the link they sent me to the help video tried to install MALWARE on my computer.Needless to say, this item has been returned. Thank you, Amazon for doing that, but this is the type of vendor who you would be better off dropping.

It works and it's cheap. The trick though is that it only works on Windows, and you'll have to go hunting for the driver. The search keywords you'll need are "newtologic LF1630 driver". I didn't see this posted in other reviews even though it's crucial to making the product useful, so I hope this helps someone out.

It is a really good scanner, reads very quick and very easy to use, you can configure it the way you like, the only bad thing is if you are scaning large batches (more than 1000) continiusly, it might get warm and freeze, but just unplug it and plug it back withing a minute and is working... (I was scaning around 4000 documents in a row)

Quick & easy install, plug it in and let Windows install the driver. You're up and running and scanning... Amazon tracking had it delivered earlier than it was, by a day. But hey, it was here earlier than expected. Great price. Does what it was intended for. No complaints at this time.

Performs to my expectations. Scans 2D barcodes without issue. It came with a sheet of programming barcodes. Windows 10 recognizes it as USB HID device. It did not come with any documentation other than the sheet of programming barcodes, but that should not present a problem for those that are already knowledgeable of how a USB HID barcode scanner operates. For the price, a great value in my opinion.

Device has never worked ever I have tried the setup process and that has no effect. I have tried the device on multiple computers so that is not the issue. I find I cannot return it to Amazon and that the return window. If you buy 1 make sure you get it working right away or return it.

Works exactly as promised. It's capable of reading even the tiniest DataMatrix codes. The automatic scan mode is very convenient and the customer service was great! When I needed a feature it didn't have (reading inverted codes) the seller sent me the barcodes to reconfigure for inverted scanning.
