Definitely does the job of hiding a spare key or two and has terrific magnet for using with metal. Definitely as advertised for us. Would purchase again.

I wanted to be able to store both my apartment key and my car key and this is perfect with room to spare. The doors in my apartment building lock automatically behind you, so if you don't have your keys in your hand, you're locked out. Both my next door neighbor and I have been locked out and then had to go in search of the manager. I bought one for me and one for my neighbor, too. They're nice and sturdy with a strong magnet. These would make great stocking stuffers.UPDATE: I've now had this for over 2 years and it's still a super strong magnet. Never budges no matter the conditions of the road, the weather, long trips, etc. BUT - over time, it will get harder to open. The fix for me was to superglue a piece of rubbery material on the top, so you can get some grip on it when you try to slide it open, especially if it's wet. Then, you'll want to also put some petroleum jelly or some type of lubricant on the sides where it glides open and closed. I also smeared petroleum jelly on the spare keys inside, because one was trying to rust. The only problem after that, is that moisture builds up inside it. No big deal, if you have covered the keys in petroleum jelly, but beware when you open it, you'll have some water that needs to be emptied out - so you don't get water on you. I love this thing. It's saved me more than once when I've locked myself out of my apartment, or the truck. I keep a spare key for my locking gas cap in it, too, just in case.

This works great the magnet strength is amazing it doesn't leak only reason it's getting a 4 star is because it's hard to open but that could be me....

This is a larger hide-a-key box but works great for hiding multiple keys, and/or today’s modern keys with thicker covers etc! Us it for all my RV/camping keys.

These have quite a strong magnet on them and the top seems to fit fairly well. Not water tight by any stretch of the imagination but if placed properly water probably won’t get into them

We love this thing. Have 3 of them. Magnet is stronger than you’d think. I have had one hidden on my car for years and never an issue.

I’ve used mine to hide a car key. It’s always under the car and lasted 2 years. The magnet is very strong but it’s only glued to the plastic. Eventually the glue failed. Luckily I didn’t lose the key. The box is a bit tricky to open in very cold weather (better than too easy to open). It’s not completely waterproof so I keep the key in a small ziplock bag. Overall, a good product but it could be improved.
