Hide Ink Tattoo Covers Medium Colors Sample Pack

I have been looking for a way to conceal some tattoos on my wrist and arm. I bought dermablend, which works but is a huge pain in the butt and VERY hard to find a color that matches my skin tone, not to mention expensive. I tried hide ink and I must say it is a breeze to apply. I was afraid that the colors in this packet would not match my skin tone, but surprisingly, the very first one I tried(Fair)was pretty much spot on. I gave it four stars instead of five for a few reasons. The first is that it is very crackly. It cracks immediately when you put it on. That was a little disheartening. You can, however, put a little foundation on it and it suppresses the cracking look MAJORLY. The foundation you use for face makeup will do fine, plus it may even make it closer to your skin color. If you are a guy I'm sure you can just go to the drug store and find a foundation that matches your skin and no one will judge you! It really does help to put some on top. Another reason I gave it four stars is because one of my tattoos is right above my elbow, but on the bicep part of my arm, and if I bend my arm the skin touches my forearm (if you can picture this), and since I applied the Hide Ink, a weird yellow color splotch has formed on that part of my forearm that touches the tattoo. It almost looks like someone marked on me with a yellow highlighter. I suppose it's just the dye, but it still is noticeable and looks weird. I did not put foundation on that tattoo, so maybe that will prevent it from happening next time. I am on day two since my application and I am pleased with the purchase so far. I have not tried to remove it yet, but apparently tea tree oil works the best. You really can't beat the price, so give it a whirl.

Did not work at all... made skin look moldy didn't cover at all.... and turned a silly putty like color the next day

You can still see the tattoo, and I don't think it works very well in matching your skin tone. I would not purchase again.

Would only recommend this to cover small areas. I attempted to cover a tattoo on my arm. It was very noticeable.

I purchased both the Medium and the Lighter Sample Pack, and came here to purchase full packs to continue using. I am Caucasian, Mediterranean decent.. fair with olive undertones. I'm using these to cover a 2x3" tattoo on underside of wrist. Depending on if I'm tan or not (or used self-tanner), I go between Fair and Olive.They look really good at first, but they flake after two days and after a shower they get darker (and I mistakenly got coconut oil on it once and it turned really dark).I've only worn long-sleeves so far, but I don't worry at all about sleeves rising up and showing this. With a watch or bracelet on, the tattoo is really unnoticeable. I think it will be good enough to allow for shorter sleeves unless I'm attending a formal event or client.1000x better than Dermablend since it won't rub off on my suit and clothes and super fast to apply in the morning.One tip: I cut several out at once (I round the corners and cut the same outline as my tattoo). This will save time when you are getting ready (under a minute to apply and be done with the process). Shaping it to the contours of my tattoo make it look much better than keeping it just a square patch.Thank you for this product!!!

Don't waste your money on this product. The strip doesn't stick well at all and when it does, it looks unnatural. You are better off putting a bandage or wearing long sleeves to cover the tattoo. Save your money.

Yes it really did help me a lot!!! I honestly thought it wouldn’t work but you really have to follow the instructions that comes in the pack!!! Loved it!
