Moscow Mule Copper Mug By Satellas

Handle came loose after two uses. A second mug has discolored (seems to have reacted somehow with dish detergent), so I bought copper polish to bring it back, but after 30 minutes, I have about 1/4 of the surface shiny again.

Kept out Moscow Mules cold all night. Very pretty as well!

Purchased 2 as a Christmas gift for my husband. Handle fell of one mug after first use and washing. Returning both.

Glad I got this! Cute mug and made for a nice summer of moscow mules and other cold drinks.The cup is nice - the rim and the balance are great. Docked a star because the handle is a little awkward. I have fairly small hands but due to the shape/size of the handle, it's hard to get a good grip on the cup. I'd imagine it might be uncomfortable if you're man with larger hands.

Cheap! Handle fell off as soon as I opened it.

Update: I still use this cop daily and love it it's my favorite cup to drink tomato juice from. The inside has not stained like my other copper cup because this one is aligned with stainless steel. Even wash it in the dishwasher and my other one has to be hand washed. I love it. It's my favorite cup to drink my daily tomato juice ice cold Yum! I highly recommend this copper mug by Satellas. Fantastic! I already own a copper cup without a handle and I love drinking cold drinks from it except that my hand gets seriously cold as it doesn't have a handle like this one does. My old copper cup started to darken or stain at the bottom and the only thing I can think is it was from not drying it completely before storing it. This Moscow Mule Copper Cup has an insulated, stainless steel inside so I no longer have to worry about stains but also more concerning.. copper leaching into my acidic beverages like orange and tomato juices.This copper cup is not only beautiful to look at it has HANDLE (no more freezing fingertips) and is rounded, so it holds more volume than my old straight sided cup. It holds the full contents of a Coke Zero or tomato juice can. The entire can 11.5 ounces with 1/2 a cup of ice! Very nice:)Metal cups to keep beverages icy cold brings me back to childhood drinking from the colorful aluminum cups of the 50's-60's, but I wasn't sure that copper is safe to drink acidic beverages. The stainless steel (like the old aluminum cups) makes icy cold beverages taste even colder!! Just plain Cambells tomato juice over ice in this cup is my daily snack at only 70 calories per serving. Put the cup full of milk into my freezer and there's nothing better than icy cold milk!I purchased this copper cup at a discount and but I want to order 3 more of these copper cups for my next girls night and brew up a batch of Moscow Mules:) I plan to display them hanging in my kitchen window because they are so attractive.

I was originally attracted to these mugs by the modern and interesting look. But when I got it, I was even more impressed. I dont' drink alcohol so that's not really relevant but all of my drinks stay cold for a surprisingly long amount of time with this. It's gotten to the point where I don't even use my other glasses so much for soda. I just rewash this thing everyday. I once even got a little jealous when my boyfriend let someone else use it. ha The only difference between this and other Moscow Mule mugs I have seen is that the handle on this one is also copper and those had a gold colored handle.My boyfriend also uses it when he drinks Moscow Mules and he seems pretty happy with it as well.
