Works very well on Insect Sting bites.
I bought this to replace a French brand that I have had for 20 years. This works very well. But compared to my old one, this one has very strong suction... a bit too strong for my liking, it is very painful and leaves a big red mark afterwards. It is not as easy to operate with one hand like my old one. But it works nevertheless. Definitely, something to keep in your first aid box. I have used this type of venom extractor for Scorpions as well as bee stings and mosquito bites. Heals easily and the pain goes away fast.

I was disappointed, but I was made whole...
I've been receiving OT for a broken wrist for a few months. I have 3 incision scars and one that makes my wrist look disfigured due to the way it healed. My OT used a kit IDENTICAL to this snake bite kit with the same plunger and 4 clear various shaped attachments to do a cupping procedure over my scar to help pull the tissue away from my bone to give it a more normal appearance. When I looked thru Amazon offerings, I saw this kit. Even though it had removable labels that it was a snake bite kit, offered a tie off and a razor to shave hair away packed inside, the kit was identical. I was so excited to be able to do this therapy at home between my visits. The kit came with items almost overnight. Once I took it all out, I used the very same attachment that my OT used on me. The problem I had was that the plunger was so hard to draw with my good hand. No suction. I tried each attachment to see if there was an issue there, or was it just me? So my next OT appt I took my kit in to ask if my OT would attempt it. She had the same issue that I'd had with the draw. "There is definitely something wrong; you should return it." So I did. I explained to the seller in my return process the reason why I needed to return it & of course I'd tried all attachments. My payment was refunded promptly to me after my return. This malfunction could've happened to anyone. Thank you.

Received mine in the mail quickly, was a friend recommendation that I’ve used at their house before.
Received mine in the mail quickly, was a friend recommendation that I’ve used at their house before. Such a great design that I figured we would get one for emergencies. It’s super functional and easy for storage in the container comes in. Every house should have one of these.

Good for nerve pain, too.... who knew?
After having surgery for carpel tunnel and trigger finger release, my P/T used a large suction cup on my wrist and palm as a means to free up the tissues and allow my fingers to fully extend and retract without the help of the fingers on my other hand. This worked very well, and then I observed him pull a box from the "medical equipment" drawer and put the suction cup away. I asked if this "medical equipment" would work for snake bites, too. He assured me he did not know, but that I could order this from Amazon and go to the desert and find a nice rattlesnake and see for myself. I declined to go to the desert just for that purpose, but it is in my car tool box, you know....just in case...

It takes 2 people to operate
Ok, but it's a 2 person project. I literally chipped and cracked my front tooth grinding them so hard to get the plunger to do its thing.
