Well built and Beautiful, just have your own wrenches on hand!
awesome product!!! good quality!y, very sturdy!, it is 12' tall!, we bought it to put over a well casing to protect it, my husband put it together by himself in 2 1/2 hrs but 2 hands would be quicker! using common sense more than the instructions, no extra welding was necessary, all the parts were there, they sent 1 wrench which you need 2, and it was a 10mm and it took a 3/8" standard to actually fit the bolts....so the bolts went quit right, so have your own tools on hand...the packaging was great, all nuts and bolts were well packed...just take care unwrapping so as not to loss small pieces while unwrapping, we layed a Large tarp down on concret floor to put it together, that helped so as not to scratch the paint/powder coating, it is a very nice piece for the money!!!

Perfect!
The windmill looks amazing and is very sturdy. No missing parts. I did have some minor trouble with assembly, but I contacted the company that makes the windmill for assistance and they were able to help me and were very professional. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for the perfect country style yard decoration.

Instructions could be better. A lot better.
Was really worried about the wind we have here in ID, would the fan hold up. Well it got tested last week. we had high winds of 25mph average and gusts of up to 70 mph. It's still standing and working great! Now I did take the advice I saw in several reviews about drilling a hole and placing a cotter pin in the post that mounts the fan, also on the tack weld to hold the back fin bar and post to main fan mount. Even though the instructions are a joke and no parts are numbered or labeled. If you use common sense you can put it together in a few hrs.

Nice Windmill
Nice, solid looking ornamental windmill. Lay everything out first, read the instructions thoroughly before starting. Have a socket wrench and sockets on hand. The provided wrench worked pretty well, the Allen wrench was worthless. Having the cross braces per-assembled was very helpful. I had mine loosely put together in a little over an hour. Tightening all the bolts and Tension system took well over 30 minutes. When placing the tower legs, have the oval holes at the top and the round ones at the bottom. This made it easier to put the bolt through each hole. I turned it on its' side as instructed after each assembly and that worked fine. The kicker was the windmill head installation. That took some time, and the instructions are not the best. If your windmill head comes with a nylock nut that is placed on the threads of the fan support shaft, you can ignore the instructions concerning the pushnut fastener, it doesn't come with it. Once done, put up and anchored, we are very pleased with it. It definitely looks good in our front yard. It spends quite easily in a stiff light breeze. Would definitely buy this product again.

Great value
This windmill is very sturdy and just the right size. Easier to put together with 2 people.

Attractive and sturdy
The windmill makes a real statement in our yard. It appears very sturdy and well built. The assembly instructions were not the clearly written, but after some trial and error I was able to assemble it. One part was missing, so I have to contact the maker to get a replacement. Overall, I am very satisfied with this item.

Stake down will not hold in 40mph winds. Concrete it in.
With in the first year windmill blew over and ruined the head. It was beautiful while it was up and working. I need to try and get a hold of customer service and see what can be done. This wasn't exactly cheap. As for the instructions yes a little confusing until you lay it out.

A very nice little windmill
Definitely the best of the small, non-functioning windmills on the market. The instructions leave a little to be desired, and assembly would have gone a lot better with two people rather than one, but with a little patience, you can get it built by yourself, along with a little common sense that is left out in the instructions.Overall, my wife is very happy with her new little windmill, and that is what really counts!
