Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo, Deep Cleanses + Removes Buildup, For All Hair Types, Especially Oily Hair

I'm a professional hairstylist and I love Pual Mitchell's products. They are a fantastic product and really work. I have hormone related oily scalp, and this shampoo two really cuts my greasy hair and leaves it shiny and full. They fresh scent is the perfect amount of scent and not over powering. This bottle lasted a very, very long time and I shampoo my hair twice a day. It left my hair clean and manageable. I will always recommend and sell Paul Mitchell products in my salon to everyone.

I switched over from using shampoos on the better end of drugstore brands. It's certainly not foamy as the other clarifying shampoos I've used. I wind up using a lot more product than expected, because it's not easy to spread around. However, I also notice that there's less hair in the drain after washing with this shampoo compared to others. I'm not sure if that's due to the quality of shampoo, or because the texture of it being harder to spread around, means I've changed my scrubbing technique to accommodate it. I used to go 2-3 days between hair washes and with this shampoo, that's increased by a day, to 3-4. (Four days between washes being in cooler weather, not a heavy gym week, haven't used styling product, etc.). I typically use this first, then do my second wash with Shampoo One from the same brand. The lemon-lime scent is as expected, not too strong. The scent doesn't last after rinsing so it won't clash with the conditioner scent of your choice.

This shampoo feels good on the scalp! The clarifying formula cleanses effectively and leaves your scalp feeling fresh and clean. Great for removing buildup and works well for oily hair. Highly recommend!

I opted for this based upon another review from a Black woman with locs who said in her review this clarifying shampoo got her locs right. Considering my hair is a similar texture I thought this would be a reasonable purchase. It is a reasonable purchase and it does work as intended, it's personally not as effective as I'd like for my hair. I have high density, low porosity 4b hair. I cycle between every 7 to 14 days between washes. Because of the length of time between washes, I find that this shampoo I needed to do more washes with. Ultimately I had to do 4 washes to completely remove all the sebum from my scalp. Typically I need no more than two maybe 3 to achieve the same result. This is with Giovanni Triple Threat Tea Tree shampoo which is also a clarifying one. My family, textures 3b to 4c, none of whole has low porosity hair, this worked well for. They too have high density curls that is high volume. This shampoo cut everything in 1 to 2 washes. While I want to say I'd keep this in rotation, the ingredient list is more chemical than natural. It does give quality results but with a more synthetic ingredient list. Gio's products is more natural and also delivers results. Because this is a clarifying shampoo it will leave your hair dry and stripped. Follow up with your favorite moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It does work, it is on the thinner side so you have to be careful to not waste product. For what this cost, over use is not recommended. Would I repurchase? Maybe, it is available to me locally. Gio's is sadly not. I'd more than likely grab this when I'm not able to get Gio's products to me in time. It's a good buy just for my low porosity hair it's not as effective as I'd like leading to far more washes than I want to do.

This shampoo brought back my curls and im thankful for it every day of this life time . I didnt read the instructions and used it as a shampoo for like 3 months but helped me incredibly with my dandruff and brought back my curls. I have irish curls and i havnt seen them in over a decade and i used this for a month and noticed right away . Yes this shampoo also removes hair dye be warned but idc i got my curls back and no dandruff.

This is my 2nd purchase of Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo. Product arrived in sealed wrap, authentic product. Excellent. Always skeptical of purchasing Salon products online. Both of my purchases have been authentic products and salon quality. Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo Deeply cleanses and removes dulling buildup. Leaves hair squeaky clean, shiny and full of body. Crisp, energizing lemon scent. Smells nice, but, not overwhelming or offensive. I do not have oily hair . It’s long and normal-dry. Thus, I can go several days between shampooing. But, I need a good cleansing and scalp shampoo. I’ve been looking for a shampoo that was as good as the discontinued Neutrogena Clean shampoo. I am convinced that it doesn’t exist and have moved on from Neutrogena products. I’ve purchased MANY different shampoo products that claim to be clarifying or scalp cleansing. They claim to contain vinegar, rosemary,tea tree or numerous other ingredients that merit price point. None of these various products are cheap ranging from $8 - $20. Wasted money. Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo is the best that I’ve tried. My hair and scalp are clean. It doesn’t strip or dull my hair. I’m staying with this shampoo. Could have purchased a year’s supply of Paul Mitchell quality shampoo with $ I’ve wasted on trying so many other brands!

I've been using Paul Mitchell Clarifying Shampoo Two for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my hair care routine. I use a lot of styling products and live in an area with hard water, so buildup was becoming a real issue. This shampoo cuts through all of that effortlessly. After just one wash, my hair feels lighter, cleaner, and has noticeably more shine. It doesn't strip my hair or leave it feeling dry like some other clarifying shampoos can. It just leaves my scalp refreshed and my hair incredibly soft and manageable. I typically use it once a week or every other week to keep my hair balanced, and I follow up with a good conditioner. A little goes a long way, and the fresh, clean scent is a bonus. Highly recommend for anyone needing a gentle but effective deep clean!

I have bought this shampoo 3 times now and it has been amazing. My hair seems to get greasy pretty quickly and this helps a ton. I was my hair twice and it will last me around 3 days before it starts to look greasy! It used to be the next day after showering.

I think I’ve bought literally every available greasy hair shampoo in the UK! Varying from cheap to eye watering prices. None work as promised, or if they do - it seems to be a one off or short lived before my greasy locks return. I wash my hair every day through necessity and my own comfort. So need something that is up to the challenge. This has been used for a fortnight and my hair is still non greasy at the end of the working day! That’s all I ask for in a shampoo! And it smells quite nice too!
