I have been wanting to buy this for awhile for a student who has difficulty with letter formation and often tries to make his own lines in graphic organizers that don’t have lines. (Inevitably he spends more time making the lines than the actual work and the lines were crooked end up crooked anyway so not helpful!) I was a little wary about buying this because people complained about not being able to make straight lines. I agree the lines aren’t entirely straight but it is a fast, effective way to make lines on a student paper to guide their writing and the lines are straight enough to get the job done. I really like this tool and highly recommend it.

I'm an OT and was hoping to use this for an older student who has difficulty writing small when she is given a large space like a worksheet. Unfortunately there is a seam in the roller so it creates a small gap in the lines. The roller also does not easily roll straight and curves downward while rolling. for nearly 20 dollars I thought this product would be higher quality.

Ink takes a second to dry but it’s beneficial for the few students I have that need handwriting assistance. Slightly smudges when it’s fresh so wait for it to dry!

I purchased this to help a student decrease the size of his handwriting. It has worked beautifully and he now asks for it.

Our special education teacher really liked this for the students.

It marks at an angle so can't get straight lines. It skips so there is a gap in the line you are marking. Not worth the effort to return. Just trashed it.

It is an ok little tool. the lines are thicker than shown on the packaging but I expected that. It is handy to draw lines but the one I received has a "jog" in the lines (the lines do not line up where the start/end of the roller meets) so it is not a nice finished product. I can hand draw lines with a ruler with less of a noticeable jog in it than this... For the price and the fact it is a specialty product I was expecting better quality. I may still use it but will have to be conscious of the uneven "jog" in the line and will not be using it nearly as much as I had planned. The ink also does not dry on certain surfaces so it can smudge. It works great on regular paper but I would not recommend it for anything with and shine or finish to it.

I should have bought this sooner. Just be careful of what kind of paper as it could pass though some... But I loves it!
