MazuriSoftbill Diet for Iron-Sensitive Birds | 2 Pound (2 LB) Bag

Myna birds love this bird food. It’s a little expensive so I only put out a little bit for the pair of myna birds that visit every morning. They don’t need much but it’s much healthier than giving them breadcrumbs.

This is by far the best food for European starlings. I do recommend feeding fruits and live insects however, but this food is the best staple food you can get your bird. Please bird rescuers, stop feeding dry cat/dog food to your starlings, starling chicks especially cannot tolerate the iron in those foods. Feed this or a blended diet. We use this for a lilac breasted roller and he likes it. I moisten it and add some dried crickets/mealworms. The bag lasts awhile so it’s a decent value for the price

The media could not be loaded. Used these little pellets for a rescued starling baby and they were perfect! I soaked some in a little dish every night before going to bed and by morning they were soft and ready to be fed with tweezers.My little guy was probably only a couple days old when I found him, but he got big and strong with this food and is now a full fledged adult happily in his forever home.

Perfect for my little Mynah bird low iron is a must for my birdie just a bit on the expensive side

I'm so grateful to have a healthy food for my resident mynahs, including the babies that are being weaned now. It's low iron, which is necessary for my mynahs. Would be lost without it.

I've ordered this product several times. Always arrives in good condition. I like the quality and seems to be nutrient dense for my bird.

This food is considered recommeded as part of the diet for European Starlings, not the whole diet but an important part of it. Two of the three starlings I have now are young and it is not their favorite food choice (they like mealworms the best) but at the age they are they often turn their beaks up at food they usually like. Once they are settled down and n the mood to eat they like it just fine. It's convenient and necessary if you keep certain birds. I'm happy with the product.
