I was so excited when I gound these! Lg lights and a great price. I got these for a gift I was making my toddler. I like how they bend, That my toddler will be able to turn them on and off himself, the size and that there is velcro on them. My only issue (and its a big one) is that I was standing in a pitch black room and turned them on and I had to hold them an inch away from a box to see the light. One lit up a 2 inch space and the other one only lit up a 1/2 inch space. I'm not sure if one is defective because they both had a safety piece and wouldn't turn on until I pulled it out , so I dont know how the battery could be almost dead in one. Unfortunately they aren't going to work at all for what I need them for. Unless you want them for a pitch black room and are planning on holding them an inch away from what you need to see they are useless.

I thought 2 lights for $6.99 ("large" size), including batteries, was too good to be true and it was. I was using the lamp to illuminate a common hand-held music folder size (about 13x10 in) and it does not create enough light except for maybe a 6" area. (Bend it too close to the music and you cannot turn pages.) Maybe a younger eye would find it sufficient. But WORSE, the light is just plain fussy. Sometimes it comes on with a click, sometimes not. Yes, you need to click twice to get the light to stay on, but sometimes the slightest movement turns the light off. I clipped it to the folder, double clicked (several times) until it comes on. While adjusting the long neck, the light just goes out. or you move the book and the light goes out.I did try using both lights (it's a two pack), one on each side and the lighting was mush better--when the lamps stayed on! They keep turning off!

Every single one of these that I have owned won't stay on longer than 30 seconds. They are not very bright. They are good for slightly illuminating a small, difficult-to-get-to area for a very short time. Great idea, would be better if they didn't constantly turn off.

I could not get it to hang as i would have love when reading at bedtime. Always timing out

I bought these to light pictures for a Charity Gala. They worked pretty well, but I wish they were a little brighter for that purpose. one of the lights didn't work because the batteries were dead. Pretty happy with them overall. I liked that they came with a clip or they could also be attached with Velcro to whatever you were lighting up.

There's as good as they're priced which is quite low. Hard to turn on.

the wires will break away from the PC board when moved /bent too much. I had to resalder both of them so far. and the batteries don't last all that long.
