Laguna Pond Fountain Pump Kit, 185-GPH

I am amazed at how well this small, inexpensive but powerful pump functions, particularly compared to the much larger and much more expensive model that it replaced (and which lasted 2 years). I've only had it installed for 45 days but if it lasts 2 years or more, it will be the bargain of the year.

This kit comes with a pump that has very long cord which I like very much. Don't buy anything that comes with only 6' cord. It is never long enough. I used it in a container water garden and it took only 5 mins to set up, open package, attach the nozzle, submerge it into water (This is important, operating submersion pump without water kills it immediately) and plug in the power, and done... Simple as it is. Continuous operation for a month now (off in the night) and still going well. This thing comes with 2 years warranty and if you have problem, just contact the manufacturer.

The pump itself is terrific. Amazon's price and fast shipping was much appreciated. There is a lot of power and good control for the water pressure. The water bell is lovely. But the fountain heads are held on by pressure, not threaded, and the force of the water being pumped eventually blew both the water bell and spray heads off and they are buried somewhere in the bottom of my pond. With the cold weather coming soon, I don't expect to find them before next spring. It's a serious design flaw, but you can probably secure the head if you know about it in advance.

The best part about this product is that it came from Amazon and they will take it back as a return, no questions asked. I always read reviews and normally take the advice, I ignored the one review of this product..and it was 100% the same as my experience. This thing literally fell apart in my hands. It is so poorly made that the base detaches from the motor, at the same time the spout and the inflow filter come off..honestly it was almost comical if it wasn't such a waste of time and I wasn't standing with my hands in cold water for 30 minutes trying to put it back together! I cannot imagine that this defect was a one off, it looks like the design tolerances were off, I can't see anyway this would ever be a functioning proposition .. don't waste you time, I wasted mine and saved you the effort. Buy something else.

This pump works good...so far. Just set it up today. I was upset to find out that the attachments for the waterfall were not included with it.

Had this for a couple of months now for an indoor water fountain, and hasn't had any issue. Really good for the price and works as intended. I've had this on for about 14 hrs a day since my purchase.

When it works it is mediocre. Unfortunately it plugs really easily. I have had mine for over a week and can't keep it running for longer than four hours. The company I bought it from was quick to respond and suggested I make a filter by putting it in a container filled with stones and drill a 1 inch hole for the spout to come out of. I did this and it still plugged. Unfortunately I am using this in a larger pond that is surrounded by pine trees. Pine needles fall into the pond and this seems to be what it plugging it up. There are two fountain heads. One is like a sprinkler with a lot of little holes. The water doesn't come out evenly when it works. The other head is more even and comes out in the shape of a vase. I am going to try and put a sponge in by the motor in hopes that the water will flow through but not the pine needles. Unfortunately I am just tired of getting in and out of my pond to keep fixing this.

Bonjour, oui en effet cette pompe à été livrée sans prise, j'ai été obligé de faire venir 1 électricien qui a du mettre 1 prise étanche cela m'a coûté 50€ le tout super les économies ???? Bref.....la pompe marché très bien et à l'air de bonne qualité. Je l'avais acheté en Octobre et depuis pas encore installée ce qui fait que je n'avais pas vu qu'il manquait la prise.
