2 Pack Stanley 33-158 5m/16 ft x 3/4 in PowerLock Tape Measure - Metric / Standard Graduations

I have bought many tape measures sometimes just to test them. These smaller Stanley metal coated plastic ones are durable. The tape itself holds up well compared to others. And this one has metric which is awesome. I highly recommend it.The main two problems with tape measures, in my opinion, are 1) the tape will rust and become hard to read and 2) if you pull the tape all the way to the end it will often break and never retract or retract poorly. This tape measure improves on both of those problems.If you're a professional craftsman or builder it is probably not wide enough to do longer distances as it is to floppy. But I really like a smaller tape measure to carry around all the time and this is it.

These are about the right size for me where I work in a maintenance shop environment. Handy having both metric and standard measurements available.

Unlike cheap competitors, seems like Stanley is keeping the quality up. I'm ashamed to admit I been using the freebie giveaways from Dockside Cargo, nearly slicing my finger off TWICE ( because I'm not only cheap, but stupid).So I invested few bucks in these, tossed the junk with unsafe edges ( where's the CPSC when you need 'em?).Happy to still have my digits. Won't stray again.

Its small and convenient. I am a hobbyist word worker and wear an apron when I work. Fits in the pockets easily.

Meh. Difficult to read with all the noise on the same side. Better to get one that has metric on one side and standard on the other. Minus one star for in actually use.NOT metal like I was expecting. Plastic that’s electroplated with a metal finish. Drop in and the electroplate will look like crap cause it’s abs underneath. Minus one star for that. If not 2.Poor standout distance. The worst of 15 different tapes as per cnn best measuring tape article.Actually I hate this thing. It looks good but that about it. No idea why it’s rated so well. 1 star.

Great Stanley tape, like always. Don't be fooled by its looks online, this is not a metal casing. It is plastic so if you're looking for a heavy duty tape, this is not it. Metal belt hook. Have dropped it and no issues so far. Reads just fine.

My husband uses these for work. This must be the best one because whenever he looses one (a couple times a year) he makes me order the EXACT SAME ONE. I tried buying a cheaper one but he refused to use it because according to him it makes a big difference.
