Glass Mason Jar Mug Pair Extra Large 38OZ EA

Other than the fact that these DO NOT have a lid or cover included, they are perfect.On July 14, 2015 I was disappointed with the fact that these do not include a lid or cover. Well, today on August 01, 2015 I can jump and scream with absolute hysterical joy. Because my set of 38oz Mason Jar Mugs now have lids!!!!! I found a set of lids made by "Del Sol" who also manufacture Mason Jar type products. They sell a 30oz size Mason Jar Mug at Bed Bath and Beyond. At BB and B they also sell the lids that fit the 30oz model. Well, based on the advise of the sales girl I spoke with at my local BB and B, I purchased a set of these lids for a measly $2.99 plus whatever they charge for sales tax. (The lids are sold in a package of 2). I brought them home, removed the lids from the packaging and attempted to screw one and then the other onto each mug. Nuff said!!!!!!!!! 😜😍

These jars are expensive. They hold only 6 ozs. more than a regular wide-mouth quart mason jar so it was the handles and not the extra ozs that attracted me. I've searched many websites for the 32-oz quart jars with handles and they don't seem to exist. The 16-oz pint size handled jars are fairly common. Why production was severely limited may be because of minimal interest in the product? These 38-oz jars are made in China (where else?) and are convenient to use with the handle. I drink lots of water during the day and a quart jar sure beats a regular drinking glass for quantity of water held. Don't know if the price of the handled jars is really worth it; non-handled quart jars are so much cheaper.

Mason jars are exactly what I need for camping trips, I have many jars for multipurpose use. On the flip side the shipping cost was out the freaking box!! I will NOT purchase again due to the shipping cost...

I ordered these so I could put a lid on it and make it a to go cup to take to work. Unfortunately neither the small or wide mouth mason jar lids will fit these! They are a bit pricey too! I was willing to pay it for a large to go cup made of glass but not without the lid! They're useless for me now.

I'm disappointed in the fact that I bought these thinking they had the same rims as a regular mason jar because I was also buying the "reCAP Mason Jars Pour Cap" to go on these to make them spill proof and neither the regular nor the wide mouth caps will fit, I've tried them both. The regular Pour Cap is too small and the wide mouth is too large. So unfortunately these may just end up going to the Goodwill. We prefer spill proof containers that we can take with us in the car. The Jar Mugs themselves are nice if you you don't care to have a cap on it.

Not great quality

Not worth the cost, I ordered these because the handle would be handy, but had no idea they didn't have lids. This fact makes them useless to me, wide mouth mason jar lids are to big, regular mouth mason jar lids are to small. If I wanted just large drinking mugs there are tons of them available for a lot less cost.

These are great I'm a big guy and I drink a lot. Theses r nice large glasses that I dont have to constatly refill.
