Cone Spikes Screwback Studs DIY Craft Cool Rivets Punk (100pcs 10MM, Gold)

I purchased these spikes to add to a leather motorcycle jacket that I am making. I thought they would give a bit of a punk edge to it. The spikes were excellent quality. It came with 100 spikes and 100 screws, I have purchased spikes in the past where not enough screws were provided with the spikes so those spikes are completely worthless. I pre-punched holes in the leather after drawing out my design and placed the screws through the hole from the wrong side of the fabric. I used a small phillips head screw driver to tighten the screws onto the studs and WOW. The effect is amazing. They have held up well with multiple wears - no peeling or chipping and most importantly no color loss or dulling of the gold color. I love the fact of having an original piece and can see using these spike in so many other ways. I have a plan to re-purpose a pair of suede pumps using these spikes and cannot wait to get started. I will certainly be ordering more of these and would recommend them to anyone wishing to create their own one of a kind product.

They are nice and a great value but the female side of the screw is deep in the cone thus this shortens the screw length.

They got here when expected, and they're not as yellow looking as in the main photo. If I knew spikes were this easy to get online I would have had a much different rebellious stage when I was in high school.

Although they look good fresh out of the package, the gold begins to ware away within a few weeks of regular exposure to air. Probably good for small decorative pieces or costume items that won't get much use, but not recommended for a proper punk vest
