This so exceeded my expectations! it fits together and u use a small funnel that it comes with to fill it. I have tried others and they were made of such thin silicone that they could not stay together. That is why some sites can sell the for $1.00. These are large, I would say about a ladies palm size. I can't wait to have people over and use the ice cubes. I think it could be able to make jello hearts too!

This set includes four silicone heart cupcake holders, the heart mold and a little funnel to help get the liquid into the mold. The set is cute and I like the red color (not that color has anything to do with functionality, but it is appealing to use for Valentine's Day). The mold works perfectly (I tried it out this morning, please see picture) and is very easy to use. Though the mold is made from silicone, it is stiffer than the cupcake holders and does not shift around or wiggle once you lock the two pieces into place. Once the pieces are together, place the little funnel in each hole and fill with cold water (if making ice cubes). Do not fill all the way up the the little spout or your hearts will look strange. If for some reason you are overly zealous with putting water in these and the water comes up too high, give the little spout a pinch and the water will come out.This set takes up a very small amount of room in the freezer. It is also nice that if for some reason their is any leakage or there is overfilling, the reservoir in the middle of the mold catches everything (I had this happen) and freezes. No big deal, put it in the freezer- it will not have any effect on the actual heart ice cubes. It took about 2-3 hours for these to freeze and they came out easily of the mold. The directions suggested leaving the mold out for a few minutes before trying to remove them, but I had an impatient toddler and all hearts were perfect. I did not use any spray or oil in the mold. The silicone made getting them out easy.I really like this mold and appreciate that I was given a chance to review it at a discount for my honest review. I plan on using the heart cupcake holders to hold candy for each of my children. I am looking forward to using it for Valentine's Day and am thinking about using red or pink cool aid to give the ice cubes some color.

Great for Valentines Day! Tested the mold and it works great! Easy to fill with the enclosed funnel. Comes with 4 silicone heart shaped cupcake liners as a bonus! Can't wait to surprise my partner with them! Great product!
