Well ive been using this and another brand since may and no uti. of course maybe i wouldnt have had one anyway - i usually get one or fewer a year. the one thing i wish is that these companies would use some kind of voluntary inspection program i could check. since this is a relatively tasteless powder that dissolves in water, how the heck do i know what i am really getting? i believe the research i have read about d-mannose, but where is the evidence that this actually is d-mannose?

My older dogs have urinary infections and by giving 1/2 tsp 2 x a day we no longer have that problem. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars

I bought this from a health food store, but I wanted to let anyone interested know that it REALLY works, and it works really fast. I usually take Ultimate Bladder Support from Best Life Herbals, and it works great. I tried another formula they advertised, and it failed miserably. I was out of town, and my sister let me use several of her prescription pills ($100/month her cost). I never have a bladder infection, but I was beginning to feel a burning sensation, and I was having to go every 30 min. or so. Her stuff got me through the trip, but a couple days later I started having the same symptoms. I went to the hfs and got this product. It worked even faster than her stuff had. I went out of town this weekend again, and I started having a flare-up and the frequent urgency again. Thankfully, I'd brought this with me, and it did the trick. I don't know if name-brands make a difference, but this has 1,000 mg. of d-mannose. I'd gone online to find a natural cure for a UTI, and this was highly recommended. I reordered the Ultimate Bladder Support, and I'm not going to switch again! This will be in my medicine cabinet if I or anyone else needs it. I would go through this pretty fast if I were using it on a month-to-month basis, but it's great for an as-needed cure. 4 of my sisters have all had bladder surgery. By using the Ultimate Bladder Support, I can sleep through the night and never have that super-urgency, can't quite make it feeling. This stuff helps that, too. I spent $32 at the hfs versus $27 here. I used about half a jar with 3 episodes. I'd recommend it to anyone for a short-term solution.
