I am honestly obsessed with this stethoscope. I have some reduced hearing right now due to fluid buildup (getting that taken care of soon, don’t worry), and I was a little nervous about how that would affect my assessments—but this completely changed the game for me. I can hear so clearly with this, it’s honestly kind of amazing. The amplification is a huge difference compared to a standard stethoscope. Heart and lung sounds are much easier to pick up, and the noise cancellation really helps cut out background noise, especially in busy clinical settings. It makes me feel way more confident in what I’m hearing instead of second-guessing everything. The digital features are also really cool. Being able to visualize sound waves in the app adds another layer of learning, which is super helpful as a student. It’s not just a tool, it actually helps you improve your assessment skills. The only downside is the price, it’s definitely an investment. But for me, especially with hearing challenges right now, it’s 100% worth it.

This Stethoscope Raises the Bar! Although it’s a bit pricey, I can confidently say that it sets a new standard for what a stethoscope should be. So far, it looks and feels great. I'm HOH so I needed something I can amplify sound with. I had a budget, so it was important to stay below a certain number but still have something good and effective. I have not taken this to work yet, but trying it at home, it met my expectations. I did compare it to my basic stethoscope and the difference is night and day. I can definitely hear better from this. I don't know if I'll use the smart features, but I do hope there is a way to adjust volume gradually instead of the button going regular to loud. We'll see. Its very stylish and professional looking. It feels durable. The black color was affordable compared to competitors who charge more for a solid color. I didn't receive any incentives but I do recommend this product.

I bought this after I lost my Littman cardiology IV. I was excited to get the Eko that I could sync to my app. The stethoscope itself is good which was not surprising, the amplification the Eko provides is good I can definitely hear things more clearly. My only complaint would having issues with the connection between my device and the app on my phone. I frequently have connection issues which is a functional issue making it harder to use and time too consuming to use. I would’ve given 5 stars if I didn’t have connection issues with the app!

After spending a few hours on the internet I didn't think that I would be able to get a stethoscope that would connect wirelessly to my bluetooth enabled hearing aids. That however, is exactly what the Littmann Core Stethoscope does. In my medical experience (I am a doctor: MD) the Littman cardioscope has always been an excellent instrument. If you are not wearing hearing aids, this instrument amplifies the heart and lung sounds very effectively. That part is unchanged. However, and this is the big news, you can disconnect the headphones from the stethoscope, turn on the Eko app on your bluetooth enabled cell phone (I have an Iphone), select start and connect the CORE device, choose either full cardiac exam or spot check (I prefer the full cardiac exam) and not only do you get a tracing of the heart rhythm, but the heart tones are crystal clear and easily identifiable. I can easily identify my very soft murmur of mild aortic stenosis. One important caveat: be sure that your phone volume setting is about 3 quarters of full volume to full volume. This is the most effective way to get full amplification of the heart tones. I am auscultating heart tones more effectively now (with my hearing impairment) than I was able to do when I had no hearing loss! It's that good. One other point, because you're not tethered to a stethoscope, you can keep a safe distance from those possibly infected patients. I plan to carry the headpiece of the stethecope in my pocket and just use it as such, without the ear pieces. Someone had commented in one of the reviews that I read that said the sounds were "scratchy". I did not experience this problem to any significant degree. You always get a little "scratchiness" with any stethoscope, when you move to different positions on the chest wall. One request of the manufacturer: it would be great if you could manufacture a small cap to cover the opening of the head of the stethoscope (where it connects to the headset tubes) so it doesn't get clogged up in my coat pocket. For all of you hearing impaired medical practitioners, I hope this helps!

Works properly. Connected to a mobile app that lets you change the acoustic settings from "wide - cardiac - pulmonary" to isolate the sounds you want to focus on with ANC. Which is great. It also shows the sound waves. Can work on external speakers or headphones. Can record and share sound clips which makes it perfect for consultations and medical records. It did improve my medical practice and diagnosis confidence.

C’est un petit plus lorsqu'on a un doute sur certains bruits ou absence de bruit. Mais il faut bien régler le volume sinon ça fait des sons parasites
