Good Quality Steel - Well Painted - Does The Job
I got this extension to be able to drill down about 3 full feet below grade with my Earthquake auger. This extension is a good complement to allow you to reach deeper and obtain the depth that you need. The extension is well made from a quality steel and is painted the same color red as the auger frame.

This added a little weight to the auger, but also makes the holes the required depth for the getting below frost line in Upstate NY. Saves a ton of time vs. digging by hand since you can get 18 inches further down with this.

Well made, easy to attach
The media could not be loaded. Augured 4 mega holes with my harbor freight auger and a 14” auger bit. Needed a big deep hole for 6x6x16 post for homemade swing set. Well made easy install!

Adds the exact length for getting below frost line
Perfect fit for an Earthquake auger I recently got that was made in 2004. Adds a little weight to the auger, but then again it also makes the holes the required depth for the getting below frost line in Michigan. Saves a ton of time vs. digging by hand since you can get 18 inches further down with this + the bolt it comes with.Downfall was the price. Should have been 20$... Not 40$.

Simple extension that works with Earthquake
I have had no problems with the blades or this extension. The auger itself is another story.

Simple, but an essential add-on to the Earth Auger to get the depth we needed
We used the extension and dug about a dozen holes. Worked great for what we needed and for the price we wanted to spend, however, certainly having a full auger extension with blade would be better except it is priced considerably more as well.
