Sometimes I like a super bright Christmas tree, but one of my trees is a rustic nature tree that I leave out from Christmas thru February, so I like that one to just give off a soft glow. LED’s are tricky because they can be sooo bright. I tried three different kinds of LED string lights, and this one was the clear winner!!! The dimmable feature is fantastic!!! The brightest setting really does light up the tree, but it can almost go down to dark. I personally don’t like the twinkle feature, because it’s more like on to off and not a true twinkle, but if you just want to control the brightness and have soft, tiny rice, fairy-looking lights, then these are great!!!

When I put up Christmas lights on the tree, I don't need a remote, which is good as this remote has way too many options and is a little wonky as I was trying to get it to just stay on with no dimming.I love the look of the clear lights on the tree. They are a pretty, crisp white. I used 3 of the 99ft instead of 2 of the 164ft as I want to leave the lights on each section of the tree when I take it apart and fold it up to put away and there are 3 sections. The wires being so thin and moldable, it won't be bulky so these work terrific and will be great to keep on and set up without re-stringing them next year! Whoo hoo! The only change I would make is buying two of the 99ft and one 164 ft. as the mid section of the tree has more branches than the other 2 parts. It still worked great!

I just unrolled these for my second year of use, so durability is great so far. Normal string lights commonly fail and are a beast to untangle...these I just rolled up carefully like a ball of yarn and they were effortless to unwind and to use. I can't speak to the remote, as I don't use it. The lights are bright and crisp, the wires disappear. It looks like a starry night! I might order another just in case these become unavailable.

The good: They are bright. ( Unless you program them not to be!) You can select from 10 to 100percent on the remote and change functions too. And, As long as you use care putting them up and taking them down- they really do last. I bought my current strand in 2021- I just put them on the tree again and again ( My tree is a pre lit with warm lights and these add a depth of color.More on that later) KEEP the reel card they come with and wrap them around it again to store for next year. They are durable and dependable.The bad: They are not "Warm White" They are definitely cooler white. Maybe not as "Blue" as some- but definitely not a warm golden color either. If you have seen pictures of lights that offer Cool- daylight/natural/netral- and warm spectrum colors- these would be more of the daylight/natural option. I bought them because I originally wanted the look of larger incandescent lights mixed with smaller fairy lights. But when they came in "Cooler" than the warm incandescent, I decided to blend them anyway. So if you are blending them with warm white like I did- make sure they are evenly dispersed on the tree or you'll be mixing whites with patches of cold and warm lights- which is my pet peeve.The remote stopped working after the first year, so you don't have a choice of modes, or control of the brightness once that happens.And yes we tried changing the battery. Didn't make a difference.Overall: I still would highly recommend. I took one star off because they are not the warm white advertised and because the remote ony lasted one year. But it is a good durable product, well made, and is beautiful if you are OK with a cooler white.

I ordered this set of lights because of the dimming feature. It was for the tree in my bedroom so dimming was an important feature for me. Unfortunately, the remote doesn’t work so the tree lights are stuck on the demo. Have to dismantle my entirely decorated tree so I can return. Such an inconvenience!

The best Christmas lights I ever used before. The bulbs are smaller and the wire looks almost see through so it has a more natural soft look to it. And the way it was rolled made it easy to unroll and wrap around tree.

I've bought a lot of these lights over the years. Here is what lost them 2 stars.- the cap to tighten the connection to the plug does not do that. It spins at the end and never fully tightens.- if you buy 2, the remote works on both, so you can't have two plugs next to each other and have different settings. I get it that this is difficult to avoid.- there isn't a steady twinkle setting. It changes speed every 5 seconds or so. All I wanted was a steady twinkle.- the remotes I received are not one of the two shown in the images of any of the strings listed.- nothing in the box to tell what the buttons are on the remote

These seem to be great lights and the price is amazing compared to store brands.I would highly recommend they are used outdoors on a 40' balcony year round so far so good.Also love the additional remote control which makes it easier to change the mood or just simply dim if too bright.Would definitely purchase again!

So pleased with this product!!! I wasn't sure at first but now I will never go back to traditional string lights. These are great and a great value for a really good price!

Was not what I was expected but turned out better!! Very light in weight - easy to install - does not get hot and takes very little space when stored.

When I open the package I have my doubts, but after some youtube instruction, I got it right, perfect for my tree

I purchased these lights for our christmas tree and they were great. In fact I loved them so much that when the christmas tree came down I put them all along our mantle place! They are bright! The photos I took are takenon a bright and sunny day and they are still beautiful and magical. I will be using them all year long!
