tech21 Evo Clear Phone Case for Apple iPhone 12 Pro with 10 ft. Drop Protection

Simple yet great protection. I’ve used tech 21 for years. As a 15 year Verizon corporate employee I’ve used them all and I keep coming back to tech 21

I bought this product in April 2021. Today, December 2023, I took off the case for I think the first time ever. It took a bit of prying to actually get it off, but wasn’t hard. I don’t think I’ve gotten a single crack in my screen protector since I first bought this case. The case has held up very well. The most damage that has happened is the edges of the case getting minor scrapes from all the times I’ve accidentally dropped my phone on pavement and things like that. Looking at it off of my phone I can tell the edges have yellowed quite a bit but the back of the case is still very clear. (I added the black circle in the image for my pop socket.) I feel like this case could last me another two and a half years easily, but since I had it off I figured I might as well buy a new one. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s use out of it! The edges of my charger port and speakers definitely built up a little grime but it came off easily with a damp q-tip. For what my phone has gone through in the last 2 1/2 years I am extremely satisfied with this case and how it has help up and protected my phone.

Perfect case. Nice balance between protection and aesthetics. The sides have a material that makes it grippy and easy to hold. The back is a hard plastic that provides good protection but scratches. There’s a lip to protect the front screen and a lip to protect the back camera. Doesn’t add a lot of bulk but still feels like it’ll protect the phone in case of a 10 ft drop. It fits nice and snug so no worries about the phone popping out upon drop impact. The buttons are proctective and very responsive. Works with MagSafe charging.

Case scratches easily, my phone leaves a mark on the inside just trying to insert it. It doesn’t affect the integrity of the case, but the marks are visible since the case is clear. Other than that, I do love this case. It’s sleek and simple. I’ve used this brand for as long as I can remember. Dropped my phone plenty of times and has never broke. Because the case is kind of soft, marks and scratches do appear easily so it will look loved fairly quick, but that’s more of an aesthetic thing than anything.

Solid case, dropped my phone in it plenty of times and it’s never broke. Lightweight and minimal. No rubber, so it’s smooth getting it in and out of pockets. The sun will cause it to yellow over time near the edges.

This EvoClear version is made out of TPU, whereas some of the other colors like the EvoCheck used to use, and may still use, something the company calls FlexShock, which is a bit more rubbery feeling. However the TPU in this version is still somewhere between rubber and plastic, and has a good grip, and offers almost as good drop protection. Contrary to what some reviews say, the case fits an iPhone 12 Pro quite well. It's not crystal clear, as it has a little bit of milky translucence, with a bluish tint when it's empty, but bluishness isn't apparent when it is mounted. I purchased at the same time another brand of a clear case that cost less than one third the price, which is pretty much crystal clear, but with the bumpers on the corners and perhaps sharper edges, it does not look as smooth as the tech21, even if it is a little less bulky, and doubtless would not offer as much impact protection. Speaking of impact protection, the official information in the manufacturers info for this EvoClear version says it offers protection from 10 foot drops, and this is what it says on the box it came in, while some of the other colors, like the EvoCheck, have 12 foot drop protection. Unfortunately, the title description and Amazon bullet points give erroneous information that this has 12 foot drop protection. I sent feedback about this issue, so we'll see if it's corrected. This means one must be very careful not to toss the iPhone higher than 10 feet or drop it from an elevation over 10 feet. If you feel the need for two feet more protection, you have to get one of the other colors, like the EvoCheck or the EvoWallet.

This is by far the best phone case I’ve ever had! I just ordered a new replacement, because the one I originally got 2 years ago had discolored to a slight brown/yellow color recently. Not a big deal to me at all considering how amazing this phone case is. As someone who drops their phone at least 5 times a day, this case makes me feel so secure and confident that my phone is protected. I used to always buy Speck, but I will from now on go to Tech21 first for my future phone cases. The volume and on/off buttons are a bit hard to press down at first, but they do quickly soften up as you use them more. I’d also like to note that this case is a tight fit. It takes a bit of strength to get it on and off. So someone who changes their cases often might find this a bit annoying. For me, it makes me feel like my phone is well protected. This is definitely a case I would recommend to everyone looking for great protection for their phone! 10/10

Good solid case without being too bulky. Fits perfectly - I was worried because some reviewers said it was way too tight for the iPhone 12 Pro. Dropped the phone a few times and so far so good. Not sure about the "self healing " claim. Got a few scratches and they're still there, but I don't care about that. As long as the phone is safe.

Siempre he comprado esta marca porque, aunque de mayor costo, me parecen de excelente calidad. Protegen completamente el celular, aún en caídas fuertes. Valen la pena.
