Stride Rite Star Wars Light-Up Saber Running Shoe (Infant/Toddler/Little Kid)

like it, cute shoe...only trouble is the velcro encloses on each side of the tounge. you have to fold the tounge all the way forward to put the foot in and the close it. this could be tricky for many youngsters to do on their own. luckily my 5 yr old did get it but we had to walk thru the steps a few times.using the shoe for a "stay at school indoor shoe'.he likes the litesaber sounds the shoe makes as well.

The shoes are cute. They light up on top like a light saber. The sound isn’t obnoxious it plays softly. As to fit, I purchased them a bit bigger with some of the comments made about them running small. However, I think they are true to fit and my son will need to grow a bit more. Sometimes kids just make a big jump. My son enjoys jumping and running to get the lights to turn on.

My son says he would give these "more than five stars." Says they are "the best shoes in the galaxy." LOVES that they make light saber sounds! We've only had them for a week now, but they are high quality and seem like they will be durable enough to withstand a very active 6-yr-old for an acceptable period of time. The VELCRO closures are heavy duty, not the felty thin kind that shred in a couple of days. So far, we're very happy with the purchase. Now, if only they made them with red Darth Vader light sabers. Then they'd be the best shoes in the universe!

Our little one wore them all school year. They were a bit clunky but he didn't care as they lit up and played the star wars light saber sound when pressing the button on one of the shoes. I was worried about the velcro on these but they held up well. Would recommend to others.

These were great right up until my son grew out of them. They still light up and make sounds after months of use, and they still look great, no signs of wear or fading. Awesome shoes, wish I bought them in the next size up too. They are SUPER easy to put on his wiggly feet and just as easy for me to take them off, but they stayed on the whole time with no problems.

The shoe size runs a bit larger than other brands. I purchased this for my 2 year old and he loved it! My 4 yr old thought it was so cool I had to get a pair for him as well. The shoes are durable and last longer than most children's shoes. I find that it's worth spending a bit more on toddler and children shoes because they take so much abuse. The cheap shoes fall apart after a month.

The shoes are super cute and fit exactly as expected. My son absolutely loved the lights and sounds. However, one of the lights got "stuck" in the "on" position and then completely went out three days later. We tried everything to get the light to turn off but to no avail. He had been wearing them for less than 4 days before the light broke. For the price and reputation of the Stride Rite brand, I would expect that the lights would last much longer than this. I've been buying stride rites for my boys for the past 7 years because they make a quality shoe; but this one was very disappointing.

My first pair of these shoes ripped along the seam within the first few wears. My son is a normal active 5 yo boy! The good thing is that Amazon replaced this item due to the shoe being defective and the second pair seems to be doing okay these first few weeks!
