Simple thoughtful
It isn't one of your action pack movies, its not suppose to be, it entertains the idea of dooms day bunkers, and what it might be like, at least one or so person's idea of such a event, the acting is top shelf, characters are believable, the scenes detailed and thought out, every thing, top to bottom well thought out and done, can't say enough good things about this movie, if the theme isn't a kind of story that interest you, I can see why some might call this movie boring, its not meant to be exciting, but thought provoking, a window into such things, anyways, well worth the watch.

Not great. Save yourself.
I don't really have the energy to articulate what a complete dud this was.In reading the reviews I see a lot of gushing about how awesome it was in every possible way, and they were on the edge of their seats. How they were blown away by the "twist" ending, the immersive genius of the director, etc. How anyone that was bored must be brainwashed. "Wake-up from the brainwash, people. Jesus." LOLAll I can say in response is:1. You don't get out much, do you?2. Did we watch the same movie?

Slow moving, clunky, awkward dialog 2/5
Not any better with the commercials. Two men are stationed in some kind of long-term survival bunker aftera global nuclear apocalypse. Daryl from Walking Dead is his annoyingwhiny, wise-cracky self. The other guy is Djimon Hounsou. The plot tries to make some kind of chemistry between these two butit's like neither one of them wants to acknowledge the other is in theroom, let alone in the shot. The cinematography is dark and monochromatic, boring and the boringparts go on far too long ... basically the whole movie.Cannot recommend.

Disappointing Dystopia
I thought this would be worth the time because I liked Norman Reedus. I was wrong. As far as near future dystopia stories go this one is a low point. We run out of air. The government prioritizes supposedly important people. Two pawns are left with the responsibility to keep the privileged alive but they end up turning on each other. There was nothing new, exciting, or suspenseful about it. Predictable from beginning to end.

Don't believe the bored
I don't quite understand why there were so many reviewers who complained of boredom concerning this film because I was rapt involved in this psychological apocalyptic drama from scene one. This is a good film, its not like Aliens with a lot of monster drama-trauma in every other scene but more like a survivors perspective on morality. This is an intelligent script, a realistic well thought out drama on what happens to the human condition when there's nothing else left to lose and I loved it!

I want my air back.
Seriously this dud isn't worth the air I used why watching it. Whats was this supposed to be? A thriller? A psychological something? A happy ending story of love? Cause it was neither of these things

Survival
I really liked this movie. I think the reason why there are so many reviews saying it is boring is because those reviewers probably are more interested in action type films. There is minimal action. This was more of an intellectual mystery type movie. About the human condition and what it means to survive. Very interesting. Loved it!

doomsday drama
No, this movie isn't boring in the least. It's imaginative down to the quick view of how the world might look after nuclear annihilation. More than anything, AIR is suspenseful. I have never seen a movie quite like this. The acting was right on, and you're left wondering which one of the two surviving actors is really losing their grip, or do they take turns.

Solid sci-fi drama
I love the premise of this - a tight, claustrophobic drama/thriller with a sci-fi edge. The execution is pretty decent, strong performances carry things through and make it a worthwhile endeavour. The plot is nicely streamlined. We're in a post apocalyptic world that all looks and sounds a bit 80's and more specifically inside some kind of underground bunker where two engineers are tasked with keeping some apparently very important people alive while they lie asleep in stasis. This task doesn't necessarily prove to be particularly easy, we wouldn't have much of a film if it did. That's about all you need going in - it's largely a two hander from there between these two fellas, Djimon Hounsou and Norman Reedus (who you probably know best as Daryl from The Walking Dead). The film leans on them and their relationship heavily and they carry it all off very well. There's tension and a well crafted atmosphere of creeping dread alongside the occasional bit of action to keep things moving. I wanna stay spoiler free here so I'll only say that I wasn't really sold on the ending but such is life. This is still worth a look if you like this kind of thing.

Wool
This is not a bad film at all. As soon as it had got going, I had the feeling that I knew the story already. Then I realised that somebody must have read the 'Wool' trilogy by Hugh Howey. It is based around the same concept and is even based in a silo, and to a large extent, follows the books storyline in certain key aspects. Even the title of the film follows the one word titles of the books.

Could be better...but good if you love Norman Reedus
Only bought this as I'm a huge Norman Reedus fan and have to be honest, I probably would never watch it again if he wasn't in it. Not a terrible movie, but think it was a good idea that wasn't explored enough. Realistically I would give it 3.5 stars.

OK-ish but not brilliant!
I bought this film purely because Norman Reedus is in it and the fact that he is eye candy is all that really kept me watching. It was an ok film for a rainy Sunday afternoon, but it was't brilliant. The story was all a bit vague and was very flat in places, the idea was quite good but was not very well executed.

I recommend it - 4 stars.
I really enjoyed this movie. There was only a small twist and the ending was just so-so, but the film holds your attention and never gets uninteresting. I recommend it - 4 stars.
