Hawk TA1872-LED Led Trailer Light

***Heed the warning from a previous reviewer about the wiring colors being incorrect.***Once that was figured out, the install was easy, and it works as expected. The light output is not as bright as I would expect from a more expensive, name brand light set, but for my infrequent use, it is working well. I have taken the trailer several thousand miles now and the lights are just fine. The wires/sheathing seem "cheap", but I have most of it run in some protective cable wrap.

wish they were a bit smaller, they feel cheap. i had these hooked up in about 10 mins, they have been working in rain and sun for about 8 months now. they work and thats what i got them for so. if your going for looks than you might want different ones. if you want something cheap and that works, here you go.

These are by far the best set of lights we have had on our 'towdolly'...... very bright and easily seen....wesearched through many sets of lights... the led for the price was the best deal....thanks again AMAZON....for makingit easier having all the shopping stores on one site!

Looks like another wal-mart item! Except wal mart is easy to return to! Would never buy another set. Good luck to you

they were installed and fell off the trailer in a matter of days...bolts pulled themselves through the plastic housing rendering them useless to remount.

i do not like these lights the wiring is all wrong but the only thing that i do like about them they are bright enough said

These lights work great and are very bright! The price is great too! Test the polarity on the bench before you wire them up. The wiring on the set I got was color coded wrong. The white wire coming out of each light assembly is supposed to be the ground but it's not, it is actually the positive wire for the brake/signal LEDs. The grounds were the yellow wire on the left hand light, and the green wire on the right hand light. In other words, the wires coded as positive leads for the brak/signal lights, were actually the grounds. The brown wires were correctly coded as the positive to the tail lights. Hope this info will save you some grief.

The manufacturer's description says that they can be used on boat trailers, but these lights are NOT submersible. The description doesn't say they are, but the fact that they indicate they can be used on boat trailers certainly implies that. They fill with water and then many of the LED's no longer function. I drilled drain holes in the casing in the hope that removing the water would return them to operation, but they are still out.
