PaleoFit 3.0oz Grass Fed Beef Jerky - Original (6 - 3oz packs)

Awful! Just opened a bag and.... I don't know if I'll ever be able to have jerky again.

We have been trying to make sure we have snacks in the pantry that are organic and handy as well as healthy. It's important to us to have grass fed beef only. My husband is a cancer survivor and must watch what he puts into his body. We avoid processed foods and try to eat something with protein in it so it is satisfying and holds us over until the next meal. This jerky is tasty although it's a bit tough to chew - hence the 4 star rating, instead of 5. Otherwise, we would try it again. It helps to have something we can grab and eat on the run.

Nice flavor but very mild, likely because there wasn't a lot of salt (if any). I'm actually torn between 4 and 5 stars because it may just be that my palate is used to the bolder flavors of processed jerky, but it seemed a little bland. I could taste the citrus as I chewed it, and it is a good product.. easier to chew than most jerkies and a heck of a lot healthier. I also liked that it didn't have a sweet flavor, I don't want sugar in my jerky. Would have like to have seen nutritional information though and I don't recall it having that.

I'm sorry, I appreciate them trying to make a good product- and it's tough to find low-carb alternatives- but the texture and flavor are really not great. I recommend the Cave Man brand instead. Sorry, PaleoFit, if you revamp your recipe and this product improves, I'd be happy to purchase it.

One of the few Whole30 compliant jerky I've been able to find. It tastes even better than the sugar and soy-laden stuff I'm used to. Great snack for right after the gym or in between meals.

Wonderful guilt-free jerky. Moist, tender, grass fed, the only downside is the cost.
