RIDIC Rubber Coated Magnet Mount Large for GoPro

It does exactly what I want it to, only WAY too well. I use it to mount on my custom fab bumper when I go offroad. The view is perfect, but if you blew up your vehicle with a suitcase nuke, all that would be left would be the bumper with this magnet attached. When I took it out of the package it affected the global ocean tides. Scientists reported that the moon moved around 200 miles closer to the earth.Pros: It ain't coming off.Cons: It ain't coming off. It took three of us with a screwdriver (scratching the paint) to get this thing pried up enough to come off. And of course the base plastic part that holds the camera mount broke during the nearly futile attempt to get this thing off my bumper. I pieced it together, but due to the location I can't get enough manual torque on it to get it tight enough so it doesn't move. Because of this, my video will look perfect until I hit something hard and the angle of the swivel flops forward. Since there is no way to get the base off of the magnet I'm not sure how I can fix this problem.

Way too strong for the base. I put it on some sheet metal and couldn't grab it off, when I tried to pull it to the side, the plastic cracked - so the magnet is too strong for the base. It's useless now and still stuck

This was exactly what I was looking for. The magnet on this is crazy strong. Almost too much so for what I use it for (mounting a GoPro on an ice hockey crossbar during practice). The round hockey goal tubes make it easy to remove, but sometimes I have a hard time getting it off of flat metal surfaces. Rubber coated so it doesn't scratch. Work great!

This would work better with a sheet of cloth under it as I was only able to use it a couple times before it broke off at the base. It's got a heck of a grip, more than needed. With a sheet of Tyvek beneath it I can lift up one edge and then remove it from the hood. Some epoxy repaired it, but now it's stuck to my filing cabinet.

be Careful, this unit is super strong. I threw it in my console and forgot about a laptop hard drive I had in there..... let's just say it's clean. Cheap way to wipe your HD! Seriously though, this magnet is ridiculously strong, an it doesn't scratch paint.

Very nice magnetic mount. Rubber coating keeps my paint from being scratched and the hold it has is plenty strong.I would reccomend adding a bit of loctite to the threads from the mount to the magnet though.

Very strong magnets but durable outer coating to protect the surface it's going on. Already used it plenty of times where 3m mounts wouldn't have been ideal.

Excellent product for taking footage. Magnet is extremely strong, will not fall off. Make sure you use a piece of cloth underneath so that you can pull it away, if not you might just get it stuck in the car, or any dense metal. Still, worth every penny.
