My pool water was green and I’ve taken the water to the pool shop for testing and they kept telling me that the chemicals are where they’re supposed to be. I added this, ran the filter and in less than a day the water was completely clear. Love this stuff.

This is a good water clarifier if used correctly.

This is the best clarifier I have used. It clears cloudy water overnight without ruining my cartridge filters. Also keeps water bright and sparkling if used regularly. This is the only one I buy now.

Crystal blue and clear

So, if you are reading this, you probably saw the headline. I was part of the 2021 Texas ice storm. We lost power, everything froze, the pump busted, the pipes to the pump busted, and that was not fun, at all. After the storm, every single pool place was booked to the MAX. This was in early/mid February, and by May, I was ready to get my pool fixed! I reached out on several local FB groups and I got a recommendation. In hindsight, it was not the best person for the job, but I digress, they got the pump replaced and the pipes fixed, after FORTY days of me prepaying them, needless to say, by the time they fixed it, the pool looked like Shrek's hometown. After they fixed it they said they "shocked the p1ss" out of the pool, and after 2 days of running the new pump and the shock they added, the color turned to a bluish color and the green was gone. After this point, despite me hiring them for the whole job from start to finish, they ghosted me, so it was in my hands, and that's how I ended up searching this product. I did not test any chemicals prior to buying and adding this product, I just added the most it said I could add and the pool got worse. So back to Google I went. Everything said get the chemical levels right and the pool would be OK, so the chlorine was so low it would not even register on the strips, so I added 8 tabs and 8 bottles of bleach and withing 36 hours the bleach was right. Then I added Ph up, which if I remember is just baking soda, and a day later the pool was testing pretty close to "right," but still cloudy as heck, I could not see more than like 18 inches into the water. So the point of all this review is to hopefully help others with the product. Once I got the chemical levels right, then added the recommended dosage, within 24 hours, the pool was perfectly clear, despite being crazy cloudy and milky looking before. I hope this review helps someone out there someday, because I was going crazy trying to figure it out!
