IKEA - KOMPLEMENT Light Strip, Beige 36"

Four out of four were defective. None of the electrical connections with the matching transformer cords are a secure fit. As a result the lights cannot be made to work without constantly pushing or wiggling the cords. Do not be suckered by the cheap price!

We saw three versions of this light at our local Tampa store and we purchased the longest. It looked well made for our under the kitchen counter needs.After we got home I realized the power cord was not included. In addition, the pictorial instructions implied this was to go into a closet. Ikea should have pointed this out. After spending $34.99 plus tax another $5 would be needed to make it work.I'm also not pleased with the cutesy pictorial instructions. Would it really cut into their profits, if a few words in English would have been added?We also purchased another LED light which comes with a switch and various adjustment buttons for color changes. We still have not figured them out. Two switches are still puzzling us. So are we idiots?Needless to say it requires us exactly one hour traveling time on the highway to get to the store. With gas costs, this is not a pleasure to repeat. So do we return the whole lamp or buy the cord? Stay tuned.
