Titanium Scissors 4 Pack (3 8-inch and 1 5-inch) - All Purpose Ultra Sharp Blades for Cutting Paper Fabric and Plastic

Great scissors to replace all your crappy ones. They are comfortable, sharp, and color coded so you can use them for different applications. I put one in my junk drawer, one in my office drawer, one for my wife and her needs, and the small one for my kids to use and or smaller projects. Gone are all my dull and ancient scissors I just was using for years. I feel like the guy who was squinting for years until he finally caved and got glasses.. . Why I put up with those crappy scissors for so long I will never know.. these are great~!~

I love these scissors. I use two of them exclusively for cutting fabric...and have seen no snagging or catching of any type of fabric I've used so far (cotton, silk, linen, lining and a cotton/polyester blend). The scissors are so sharp that even with fabric, I can start a cut and then just drag up the fabric to complete my cut....never closing the scissors in the process except for the initial cut. I use the other two for paper and other projects. Again, I can start a cut and finish it with just moving up the paper and never have to close the scissors (this includes the smaller pair as well). The handles are easy to grip and I like the color differences as well. (orange and green for paper/other...and the purple/blue for fabric). Very easy to keep my scissors apart and not have any cross over in function.

I did not need any crazy criteria, I bought these because scissors tend to disappear in my house. And I wanted to have a pair in every room.The only thing I was looking for, is for my scissors to not fall apart and actually cut stuff.They cut great, through everything I used them on in the last couple of month, even thin fabric. They feel super sturdy and I have enough to always be able to find at least one..P.S. Love the mini size bonus, I use them way more than I would of thought.

These are good quality scissors, quite sharp, with good tension between the blades allowing them to cut cleanly right out to the tip. The blades are made of steel, not titanium, with a gray coating that may or may not contain titanium. For the price, I would not expect the highest quality material. OTOH, they do the job on fabric, etc. The drawback is that the opening in the handles are a bit undersize and uncomfortable to get 3 fingers into for any but the smallest hands. The remedy was to use a sharp knife to remove the colored silicon "cushioning" material from the interior of the handle, opening up the holes to normal size and quite comfortable to use.

I paid about $12 for this set of scissors so I was not surprised that they are hardly up to the standard of Fiskars. On the plus side, the blades of the three large scissors are sharp and mesh smoothly and cleanly cut plastic film or a facial tissue. On the negative side, the molded plastic finger grips are on the small side and not ergonomically shaped like Fiskars so it is not possible to comfortably apply as much force when cutting more difficult materials. The blades are not “Titanium” but steel with (probably) a titanium carbon nitride (TiCN) coating. The small scissors in this set have such small finger loops that only a child or adult with very small fingers will be able to use them. The large scissors are adequate for occasional use but will not replace the one I use regularly.

These kind of scissors in our home are always going bad, because we abuse them, but wires, or thick paper, so you need a lot of them like you need a lot of pens and pencils because they are cheap or get lost a lot. Same with these. We like them, they work great. We have to buy these kind of things often so I am glad they are not an outrageous price!

They arrived quickly, came nicely packaged, seemed to be of quality workmanship, and cut well. (I'm leery of scissors-- I go through so many!) I wish there were a pair out there that really did last and perform like advertised, but as of now, I haven't found them. I gave these scissors five stars because they ARE nice scissors-- now I just have to see if they can stand the test of time.... stay tuned!

These scissors are very sharp as needed and the very tip of the blades cut as well as the middle. Keep away from children, as just touching the blades with your fingers feels uncomfortable and can easily cut skin. The handles provide a good grip and the scissors work precisely and feel tightly assembled.
