Walthers Cornerstone Big Grain Storage Bin 933-3123 HO Scale Model Railroad - Structure Kit

This is a nice addition to my Walthers grain elevator. My layout is still in the assembly stage and the bin is not yet connected to the elevator but will be in the future. I think it will look great once I find a suitable location on the layout for it with these other structures.

This is a great model, and easy to build. It comes in a grey/silver plastic, spray it with some metalic silver sprsy pai t and it looks real. Do not believe the pictures, it is the grain bin only, not the dryer or elevator.

When you look at this kit in the box it looks like it'll be an easy build but a lot of care must be taken to get the pieces to fit properly. The size is just right for large or small layouts. By modern prototypical standards this is a small bin so a lot of weathering can be used.

looks good between to house and gives the real look of edges between the two homes

The bin is quite big ans tends to dwarf other structures . Not easy to assemble. It should be noted you only get one grain bin and the elevator is also not included. Makes it quite expensive for the kit as per photo on the box . Approx £55
