Multi-platinum selling Jackyl has long since validated itself as one of America's most loved rock bands. Specialists in down and dirty blue-collar rock and roll, Jackyl's legacy of its wild, untamed and uncouth approach to rock 'n' roll is well established. The band hit the scene in 1990, and immediately began firing off rock radio hits like "Down On Me," "When Will It Rain," "I Stand Alone," and most notably, "The Lumberjack" during which Dupree performs a chain-saw solo. The introduction of Jackyl's fifth instrument on album and in concert quickly became one of the band's many trademarks as the group blazed a path to infamy, sharing the stage with Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Damn Yankees and working with industry heavyweights such as John Kalodner. C/DC's Brian Johnson would go on to lend his vocals to the track "Locked And Loaded" which still stands as his only contribution outside of AC/DC recordings. The band has earned two Guinness Book of World Records citations and the designation "The Hardest working Band in Rock 'N' Roll" for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours. Staying true to their working band roots, Jackyl is a staple on the summer festival circuit and maintains their commitment to every show being the sonic equivalent to a man being shot out of a cannon. Jesse James Dupree shares, "This is our 20th anniversary from our first release and we made sure Best In Show would show we have not let up one bit."

"Best In Show" Top Album Of 2012
This is by far and away the best Jackyl album to date, extremely energetic rock songs that really bring back the fist pump arena rock n roll that to me is the best, you just forget about your problems and have fun. This album has the vibe of the debut album from Jackyl, Jesse James Dupree voice is still in tip top shape with an AC/DC appeal to his vocal. Also Jeff Worley a highly underrated guitarist does some awesome riffing and power chords that make ya want to air guitar to all his awesomeness!!! "Cover Of The Rolling Stone" is a highlight song with a simple "We Will Rock You" type drumbeat, It's a cover song from Dr. Hook but Jackyl definitely make it their own with a chainsaw solo, and could actually have a hit with it, If radio stopped catering to only Rap and Justin Bieber???? Do yourself a favor and buy this album. If ya love Motley Crue, AC/DC, KISS, Bad City....Also for all you Nickelback fans do yourself a huge favor and buy this album from Jackyl and enjoy true Rock N Roll. They also do a really fun version of a Run DMC song "It's Tricky" My personal favorite song is "Favorite Sin" which has a great driving beat & I love the guitaring in the song. so in the words of Jackyl "I like poontang better than chicken" CLASSIC :) Keep up the great work Jackyl for keeping true Rock N Roll alive & well!

Best In Show is Jackyl's best work to date. Really!
Oh, hell yeah. Best In Show from Jackyl is easily their best work to date if you're rating the entire album. My favorites are: "Screw Driver", "Horns Up", "Golden Spookytooth", "Favorite Sin", and "Better Than Chicken". Also love the cover of the Beasties "It's Tricky". There's more too, but those are the best. If you ever have the chance to see them live, do it... go! They rock out and their drummer is one of the best I've seen!

Best work since the second Album
This CD Rocks pure Jackyl sombody gave it a crappy revue saying only three songs were good. B.S. the whole album is good, it covers tunes by DR.Hook and the song Tricky is a hip hop song I dont know who did, they were the songs I liked the least only cause I played the hell out of Dr. Hook over the years, and Im not a huge hip hop guy so the tricky song could get old fast. They are both great versions of those songs though. The album is very reminicent of the first and second albums wich I personaly loved. If you like jackyl or just some good ol Hard hitting Pure rock get this one. If you like poontang better than chicken buy it. This one wont leave the CD player on my Harley for a long time.

greatest jackyl album
Now that they are all grown up like some of my favorite 80's bands they are way better musicians and have a more polished sound. these guys are still pumping out the sleezy, loudmouth, nuddie themed rock as they used to, but better. I just amazes me how Jesse james dupree has so many things to say and the lyrics don't have to have alot of redundancy to get through the 5 mins.
J**!
Five Stars
Fun album from start to finish. Crude, witty, and sleazy... just how I like rock 'n roll.
