The Glock of Slingshots
This is an incredible weapon. It will shoot .38 steel balls very well, and fast! With the half inch steel ball ammo this slingshot is lethal. We're talking broken bones, knock down and death. The shooting position is so intuitive that I missed a tree downhill at 50 feet with the first shot of .38 ammo, and hit it every time after that with a variety of balls. The Particulars: Very heavy duty plastic, positive locking into position, folds up easily, so easy to use it's a wonder cave men didn't use these. Looks like something from the Terminator. This is gonna be an award-winning Zombie Apocalypse Must Have! With a little practice you could easily walk through the forest, smiting creatures with impunity up to and excluding badgers and wolverines or larger animals (oh sure you could kill them with this weapon but how much do you want to bleed?). Also possibly beavers - they're bad, don't mess with them.Seriously, I probably would have paid a hundred bucks for this slingshot with the sight included.I would press the usefulness in a carjacking scenario in future advertising. A forehead shot through the window and it's lights out!In the ongoing war with the squirrels, this could be useful. Subsonic rounds (300-400+ feet per second) are silent yet weighty enough to do do serious damage to any animal except buffalo and elephants. And then...ask yourself, do you feel lucky, punk? I mean, they're just animals and they feel pain. Also, they're probably going to kill you if all you have to fight with is a slingshot, but if you have to fight elephants and buffalo with a slingshot, then make DAMN sure that slingshot is a Saunders Wrist-RocketĀ® Pro and pray to God they are making exploding, anti-elephant/buffalo rounds by the time this happens to you. Otherwise just turn around and face them like a man. With a slingshot. And a smidgen of hope.

Terrible set up instructions in package
The instructions in package actually show different model slingshot. A few rare photos are terribly technically written. Can't figure out where rubber bands come from when trying to shoot it. Probably descent product but terrible instructions. Not recommended.

It was very accurate and powerful as I got use ...
It was very accurate and powerful as I got use to it but after shooting it awhile the 50 cal. steel ball caused one arm to unlock and creating one wicked wiled shot that happened three times! I used the trumark 50 cal. marble with no problems at all. but I probably will shelf it.

Serious firepower!!
I researched several wrist rockets to begin my yearly battle with the tree rats aka squirrels and my tomato garden. I decided to go with this one and have been very impressed with the construction and power. It is made from very solid plastic and folds down too a very compact size. I bought 3/8 bearings but think you could use larger. The velocity is very impressive but accuracy is a bit of an issue. I think I just need more practice with it. We have also had a bit of snap back issues so be careful with the shooting arm.

not something to carry around
it's very long and bulky, i say it weight near a pound of PLASTIC!!! it's over 1 ft long. NOT something i want to be carrying around and the pocket for whatever you're shooting is made of plastic! the life of this piece of plastic crap wouldn't last 300 shots. Not recommend, get a steel frame old school sling and put the rubber on yourself!

Fabulous but big
Yup, it's BIG - - about 18" long and around a full pound. But the materials and workmanship are outstanding. This thing will last a LONG time - - the other reviewer was obviously put off by the materials. 300 shots would be just warming up for this puppy. Furthermore, the joints (weakest spot of any plastic design) are all easily accessible and could be repaired with standard hardware if they ever break. The power is higher than other slingshots because of the forward-anchored bands and, of course, the better flat bands. This is the highest velocity, flattest-shooting of all my slingshots, period. I can easily put all my shots through a paper plate out to 25 or 30 yards. It's also by far the most comfortable slingshot ever. Yes, the flat bands get snarled after a shot and it's slow to reload (make your first shot count hehehehe). Yeah, even folded up it's too big for a pocket unless you're a giant, but a purse or backpack is no issue. Overall, if I want a hunting, long-range tool, this is the one. For a short-range, fun slingshot, a small folder or even a simple old-fashioned Y-type works.UPDATE after a few months:The natural rubber bands rot in the sun very quickly. I had some bands in a drawer - - they are fine. But the ones in the sunlight (indoors near a window) crumbled into scraps. The Black Mambas might be better, I ordered some.

Not as advertised
First of all, it doesn't seem very high quality. It feels like it is going to snap when you fold / unfold it. The grip part is tough to lock in.But the reason I'm giving it one star is false advertising. It did not come with a band, rendering it useless. I saw another review saying that, I don't know why the bands are so difficult to include.Unfortunately I will not even be able to shoot this, because I don't have a band. And I am returning the steel .50 caliber balls I bought with it. Overall an incredible waste of time with the return process and picking this out. And don't forget the shipping time.Moving on to a better product.
