ConAir Thermal Self Grip Rollers - 12 Pack

Have been very pleased with these wonderful rollers!! Better than I expected. They are grippy but gentle and very easy to roll up AND take out, which is the real test!! They are comfortable to wear and the lovely colors make you feel pretty even when your hair is up. I am wearing them now! They do not slip out while I am wearing them even while doing chores around the house. They don't come out until you want to take them out. My hair gets dry very quickly and I imagine if you wanted to use a blow dryer while they are in your hair, it would speed up drying even more. I bought two packages but needed more so was happy to get that extra package so I would have enough. I only use the medium and small size as my hair is medium length. I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

I like the fact that these are thermal rollers – and I have been able to roll hair and paint it and then steam it with a clothes steamer, then let the hair cool, and the curls are beautiful. Just be aware that I am using them on wigs on a wig head – I would not try to use a steamer on these on my actual hair. If I were going to use them on my actual hair – which is unfortunately thinning – I would wet all my hair and put them in – making sure to pull them tightly as I rolled them up so that they come out as smooth curls. Then I would hit them with the blow dryer, gently, so it is not to create frizz. If you do that, you’re going to get a beautiful curl.

These rollers are simple and straighforward to use. I have long hair that flow past my shoulders, so I think the reason why the curls don't hold too well is due to the length of my hair and the fact that my hair is naturally pin straight. I do like that the rollers have an aluminum layer on the inside to help retain heat for a better hold. These might just be more suitable for those who have shorter hair.

Not happy with the size, considered returning but decided to keep it. I'm regretting my decision because they are just too small for me.

Love these rollers. I've been using this type of roller for 20-25 years. Mine were getting pretty bent up so I went to Walmart to buy some more - no luck. I then tried Sally's - again no luck. Checked Amazon and there they were. I really like the metal inside because it sets my hair. The little bristles keep them in my hair. I dry my hair quickly without trying to style at all. Then I put in these rollers and run the hair dryer over them (on high) to warm them up. So after I do my makeup, my hair is ready. I just easily take out the rollers and brush my hair - beautiful. The style stays in. OK, I live in Colorado where there's no humidity but I used to live in Virginia and there was plenty. My hair would feel like a helmet as soon as I would walk outside if I tried to style with a hair dryer and brush. They really helped with the humidity issue.

I was looking for thermal rollers and these were the only ones I saw that "seemed" to be the size I needed (L/XL) but I guess I should have read the description better as these are not large enough if it's "volume" you're after. I just threw them in my drawer initially once I realized I didn't have the option to return them. On a whim I decided to try and use them after several weeks and it was terrible. They stuck to my hair so bad, made it all tangled (keep in mind I'm a hairdresser so I'm not an amateur) and to top it off they did nothing but make my hair more frizzy. After I finally got them removed I threw them all in the trash. Waste of money in my opinion.

These are a perfect solution to my problem with slowly burning my hair by heated brushes & curling irons. Now I can put these rollers into my slightly dampened hair and using a regular blow dryer get just as good of a set. Very pleased.

Handy to use hair rollers for curly, frizzy, wavy & unruly course hair. After shampoo/conditioner just dry your hair a bit and roll up your locks for a while. Oh la la nice results. Or touch up by rolling hair & going into shower yourself then let hair dry for a while. Looks great. Take care removing them as they do take tight grip to your strands. Buy 2 sets do that you roll up thin amount of hair on each roller. Highly recommend this product.

The rollers were in a compact package, however the package looked old and worn, with a sticky residue on the outside, also discoloured as if something had been spilt on the pack. The rollers inside did not seem soiled and appeared in acceptable condition. Although they are self grip, like all rollers of this kind, they need a clip to hold them. These are quite small and ok for my fine medium length hair.

Works well to provide volume and curl on very fine shoulder length hair. Metal inside lining heats well with hairblower without damage to hair. If packaging for rollers was improved beyond plastic, would give 5 stars. Would recommend highly.

These rollers cannot be returned, be sure you want them before ordering. I have long hair, and these are not at all the right rollers. The largest is 1.25", the rest get smaller from there. I took a gamble based on the picture since the size of the rollers wasn't in the description. Unless you are looking for a 1940's curl set, don't buy these.
